Some news on the coffee mugs...

They arrived!!! :-)

I'll be offering them for sale at the roundup here in College Station on Saturday, and hopefully Monday will start taking orders on the website.

The price is going to be an even $10 plus shipping... I wanted to do it for $9 but it's just too tight with the cost of the mugs and the shipping to get them here, I just don't have much of a choice on that (and a dollar shouldn't make a huge difference to those who buy them. :-)

Shipping will be priority and is calculated at checkout time.

Mr Horseshoe so right. huh?? Nice to see you on to.. I had a uncle who drank coffee from a huge bowl as a cup not big enough so weird when i saw that.. but that was 45 yrs ago give yr. ot two...lol..

Ha, that made me think about when I was little and Granddaddy use to pour his in his saucer. When I asked him why, he'd just smile and say soas it could cool off quicker! LOL

Will us Canadians be able to get in on this? You would probably need to charge more for shipping.

As for drinking coffee from a bowl...I've done that. (Think I got it from watching some war movie as a kid! Loved it!)

HOWEVER...
...the DG mugs are so nice! I can't think of anything better than to stick your nose in a DG mug! It increases the flavor and the experience of what you're drinking!

Me three, watching thread so I can order one. My Swedish grandma used to drink her coffee from a saucer , to cool it off, but also with a sugar cube between her teeth...I'm sure if I did that I would have a big coffee stain right down the middle of my shirt!

Hah! Good idea, Sheila_FW...unless you think it'll frighten people away from wanting a mug! (Hopefully it will help to increase sales though! That way Dave can order more of them so no one is left out online, eh?) :>)

Will think about using the pic as my ID photo, too. Since it hides most of my face it would be like the "mystery neighbor" on some TV show we used to watch (Tool Man?) where the neighbors face is only seen from the forehead up! :>)

I have it ready, Dave of course will be the one to decide the advantage or disadvantage of using it to promote sales! LOL!
