I'm considering purchasing a 50' to 100' commercial soaker and using it on a steep hillside. My problem is how to move it easily. I have two ideas: 1) At the top of the hill install a heavy duty wire between two anchored posts, then clip on the soaker with a carabiner (or facsimilie) then when ready to move, pull it taunt from the bottom and scootch it over to the next downside area to be watered. 2) Use only one anchor with no wire, hook up (carabiner style) then move it in a pivot fashion. Anchors would be interspersed at correct distances to cover the area as the soaker is moved. Is there something easier? I figured that our housing association could cut yearly watering expenses by a third using the soaker.
Thanks,

Soaker On a Hillside
Why are you moving it? I leave mine in place. On a hillside you will get most of the soak at the bottom so run your soakers up and down the hillside.
Soferdig,
You have mail.

Do soakers water just the plant right next to it? and what is the diff between a commercial soaker and others?
