Shopping for my 2006 garden!!!

The budget angel in my head is having a conniption because the budget devil just spent a great deal of tax refund money on plants (which was supposed to be used to pay off the big screen TV in full...oops). Oh yes! Better than Christmas! And the sad thing is...I still have more to buy for the shade garden and veggie garden! Tamara

Ok....can I be your friend?

Woo Hoo! I just celebrated spring by going plant shopping. There's a wonderful nursery in Lancaster
County, run by menonites that have just gorgeous plants really cheap. I tried to control myself but I didn't
do so well... some really cool new geraniums (forgot name already - but yellow w/red margin folliage and
deep blue flowers), a few geranium sanguineum, three geranium jolly bee, 4 6-packs of pansies, a gorgeous
deutzia with chartreuse folliage, a cute little hosta mini, and a saxifraga. More probably. Isn't shopping for
plants fun???? Now if the weather would just spin to the warm stuff, life would be grand!

Tammy...those sound delightful!!!

Hi Zone5girl, keep me posted on your bicolor buddleia. I'd really like to try one. I ordered peach flambe, and I have carribean crush. I was disappointed in it's muted colors. Not like the pretty photo of it. Looks like you have a lot to look foreward to! Now don't let anyone spoil your fun. Payday is here again.

:-( I was really hoping that the colors would be nice and bright! That's why I didn't get the Dolce Flambe petunias because everyone complained that the colors were much more drab than pictured. Well, I'll take pics when they bloom and you can see if it's a color you like.
:-) Tamara

Nice color in the Heuchera you selected.

Isn't "Sparkling" descriptive? It sounds beautiful!
