I'm planning to make my own home-made trellis. I thought this would be good thread to show-off your hand-made trellis and how you did it. Also, add your favorite links how to make your own trellis would be idea too.

This arbor is built from one for sale in a plant catalogue a few years back. Humulus lupulus 'Aureus' is attached as a climber.

This is my DH's first attempt at building me a trellis. We needed something
in the front of our house to fill in a bare spot and since it gets plenty of
sun I wanted to grow climbing roses. He came up with this for me and I
now have Don Juan climbing roses beginning to grow on it. He did this
project for me in February (a Valentine's gift) and bought me the 2 rose
bushes. I can't wait till it covers and fills the trellis.

Not sure if you would call this a trellis but we are using it for the same purpose
to support the Lilac vine and Confederate Jasmine. DH was so proud and pleased
with his first attempt at building me a trellis that he built me this a week later. Now
wondering what next!!!!!

I will include the before in the next photo.
