Hi There,

Just in from the concert - Bach's B-Minor Mass conducted by Helmuth Rilling who is one of the world's foremost Bach interpreters - not close to his mid-70's. This work truly is one of the Holy Grails of music.

McCool - taking a look at your glassware, I think it's remotely possible that the candle holder and matching bowl MIGHT be Heisey, though I couldn't tell you what pattern. I think I have some of my mother's books around - might take a look. What do you think, Maria? The other, is very pretty depression glass. It's all old; so would have SOME value nowdays.

defoe - don't know how you get so much done so fast in the house.

Good night all. I'll check in more tomorrow.

Viann, sometimes I think I'm manic. About this time of year, I do want to get everything done, so I can go out and play in the dirt when the weather gets warm. Sometimes it prevents embarrasement when unexpected company comes!! LOL Just have about another good hard day, and it's all done. Finish the kitchen, then the laundry room. Makes me feel better too.

Goodnight all.

Well I'm back again.

Defoe, you're first. Didn't you see what I said about the 2X4? Honestly ... how can you do *all* that in one afternoon? Is your trip north replacing your trip south you were talking about? hehehe

Maria your husband was certainly a *lucky* fellow to have you cooking such marvelous meals for him. I've come to an excellent decision, though. I've decided that Defoe needs a chaperone when she goes on her trip, so I'm offering my assistance. LOL Of course since I'm her friend I'll give her a reasonable rate. That way I can meet you and McCool. Don't you think that's sweet of me? :) Besides I need to give Samson a hug.

McCool, you're sweet ... and you did just fine. I could picture the pretty bowls and candle sticks, and they're just lovely. Thanks! :)

Susan, am so glad you were able to talk to your DD tonight. I'm sure it made you feel better just to hear her voice for a minute. I'll be praying for her swiff recovery.

Suzie, what about your DS?

Meezers, sure didn't know all that stuff about those dishwashers. I'll be looking into those next time. I like my Sears, and it's very quiet ... but I *paid* for it. LOL And it doesn't have all that neat stuff!

Ann, you've got to be kidding about the successor! You mean he didn't want you to help him? Boy, he's got some nerve! I want to be a fly on the wall next time he asks you for help, okay? ;)

Well, there's no telling how many posts have been made while I've typed this, but I'm going to hit send anyway. To those I've missed ... I'm so so sorry. Will try to do better in the future. I may be MIA for the next few days as the DH has from now until Tuesday off for his 50th birthday. Our Montana company will be here on Friday, so I'll check in before they get here. I've cleaned baseboards, windowsills, blinds, bathroom tile, vacuumed, wiped cabinets, ceiling fans and *even* cleaned the top of my refridge! Friday I will go over the floors and mop. Then don't *anyone* mention the word housework to me!!

Ann and McCool, It also could also be Fenton or Imperial, I know it is a better glass then the usual depression though some of it is quite valueable for those that collect certain patters or colour . I had so many books about antiques, hundreds of them but gave them all away, there are times I wish I had not ... but as D-cat said McCool you shoud get a book on depreesion glass ware , you will find your patterns in there and also an estimate of what they go for, try to sell the in your store if you do not want to kep them, but do take care of them, your husband takes some nice pictures I recogniise some of the patterns but not having done this for quite a few years I forget.

Thanks for all your compliments about the dinner, it is not hard to make just takes a long time to prepare.

Wish you would come along with Defoe, Elaine, that would be loads of fun

Have not done any house work, the heck with it just dusting and pushing the vacuum, lol, so more power to all of you that do

Meezer sorry you already ate lol

Good night to every one else that posted today and those that did not find time to do it perhaps we'll see you tomorrow
