Mugs?

(Zone 5b)

Dave do you want any prepaid orders yet?

No, we don't need to do that. We have money in the bank to finance the upfront ordering cost.

For those curious, the cost is $1,619.32 for 288 mugs (about $5.62 each). Considering breakages, mis-shipped stuff, replacements and so forth, I'm figuring we'll break even which I'm perfectly fine with.

- your gracious attitude is what makes DG such a wonderful place :)

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I totally agree!

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

Do you send them an image file to be printed on it, or is that done by snail mail? Just curious how they do the printing.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Did you get the website on there Dave? I would love to see the web addy on our T-Shirts to advertise for you.
Hope you have the mugs by RU in April ....yea!!!!

I email them a high resolution image of our logo and they use that to make the screens.

dave

No website on the mug - just the logo. I guess the website address always makes me think of a corporate thing... There was enought clammering that the next run of shirts will have the website, however.

Bloomingdale, OH(Zone 6a)

Any idea when the next shirt order might be? And will there be more of the larger sizes ordered?

mg wants a shirt! And a mug! And a keyboard protector and a keychain and a hat and a ummm...

Well, there are still shirts in stock. See the Extras page for ordering info.

dave

Any new news, Dave? *tip toeing out*

Crossville, TN

dave, do you plan to bring some to the TX RU? Would save some of us on shipping cost. Jo

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8b)

No news yet.

Yes, Jo- assuming all goes well, we'll be bringing both shirts and mugs to the RU.

Trish

I got the artwork proof by email today. As soon as I approve it, we should have the mugs in hand 2 weeks later.

And yes, I'll have plenty of shirts and mugs at the roundup. :-)

Here's the proof.

I'll take SIX of them!

Gotta have the "second edition" DG mug!

Shoe.

Bethelridge, KY(Zone 6a)

I'll take 2 also, I didn't get the 1st edition. :o(

Well, I've *got* to have 2 also!! One for drinking and one for my collection. Let's see ... I think that will make around 66? Dono for sure. LOL

Well, they changed the price on me (for reasons of colors) and so it looks like I'll have to offer the mugs at $9 instead of $8.

dave

That's okay by me. I still want 2. :)

Starkville, MS

Bethelridge, KY(Zone 6a)

Still 2 for me also!

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

I want 2, but I'll be sure and order when the day comes.
'Shoe, you particularly clumsy or what?

"'Shoe, you particularly clumsy or what? "

Hehehe...welp, I have a mighty weird enterprise going on here. Ya see, it's like this...Being a former clown I decided to support DG by walking the streets all dressed up and balancing a DG mug on my head (with a bouquet of cut flowers in it!), wearing my DG T-shirt, pockets stuffed with DG literature, and juggling DG mugs, three of which will have superballs glued to the bottoms of them! In an effort to really get attention I'll "accidentally" drop a couple, the people will *GASP aloud, only to be surprised that the mugs bounce back into my hands!

The "Bouncing DG Mug Trick" will be symbolic of Dave's Garden, emphasizing that DG not only has garden and homelife info but also offers entertainment, surprises, smiles and, no matter what, will always bounce back to be there for ya!

(How's that for a story, Mystic?) :>) τΏτ

I don't juggle and I've never been a clown, so I'll just want one, please.

Moab, UT(Zone 6b)

Knew there'd be a story 'Shoe, thanks for the enlightenment. Pictures when you get them? ~Blooms

Caistor, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

LOL Shoe, I'll take 2 Dave.....one for each hand....Lauri

Mableton, GA(Zone 7b)

I'l take 3 for when they get dirty and I forgot to turn the dishwasher on the night before. lol

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

You can't get anything less than $20 worth having nowadays, so that is a bargain.
Now I can see real terra cotta planters with Dave's logo on them. They would make cute planters for African Violet collectors.
Is there a company that makes decals that are personalized to apply to various gardening related things in our homes? LOL
