Post the phone number Dave. I'm sure they'd be happy to get going. :) LOL

Moon Twp, PA(Zone 6a)

Tell them that many other companies would be happy for the business! I vote for HUGE oversized mug or tall lemonade glass... ~ Suzi :)

Hey, Gang,(and "dave"),
I would love to see DG tee shirts, too! Notepads, pens, etc-anything to throw DG out there to the world. Garden Visors?
Garden Plaques? It could say something like "This beautiful spot proudly inspired by Dave's Garden" ?
I would love it even if it was done as a pre-pay before you order the items? "whatcha" think?

Dave, I just saw last night that Caribou Coffee shops have flower pot mugs with their Perennial Blend and Caribou logos on them. I can't vouch for how they stand up over the test of time and dishwashers, but they look nice. They seem to have a shinier glaze inside of them and they're a little more delicate around the handle.

They sell them for $7.99, so they must have gotten a good deal and/or bought them in BIG bulk. You might contact Caribou and see where they ordered theirs from. All I know is, they're made in China.

On their site, they only have the mugs as part of a basket, but at the stores, they sell the mug with a 1-pot bag of their Perennial blend, wrapped in clear gift wrap. http://cariboucoffee.com

It's a minimum order of 72 mugs, and they're more than twice as expensive as a few other sources. (Yeah, I'm nudging Dave, too. I've given him some other ideas/solutions to consider, because I have a terrible fear my precious mug #2 may slip from my hands like the first one did!)

Oakland, OR(Zone 8a)

If he gets them ordered in, he could count on me to take 2, and I'll bet most of the others would be spoken for before they got to him. Dotti

Lilesville, NC(Zone 7b)

YES!!!! I would order at least 2 if not more....maybe get half glasses and half mugs, that way everyone involved would be happy if they dont dont drink coffee or tea...etc

Thanks For Everything and Anything that is ordered,

Char

Please please ... pretty please? I'll prepay ... clean your house ... wash your dog ... *anything*. I just don't babysit! LOL I'll order 2, though.

I can't believe that there aren't DG's that don't do ceramics.....Can't someone do them cheaper and still make a little money? I have no idea what it cost to make a mug at home, so I may be way out of the park in asking this.

Hap

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Happy_1 It is actually cheaper to buy the coffee cups at the dollar store and add DG decal and fire it on. I don't have the means to do it, but someone could make some money if they could.

This does depend on the price of the decal.

Our youth group sells coffee mugs with church name for 5.00 for fund raiser. I will have to check on who makes them.

Clay Center, KS(Zone 5b)

If the mugs are the terracotta like before, I would gladly prepay for atleast 2. The first one still looks like new despite many, many cycles in the dishwasher.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Hey, there Edens_Gardener. How're things in KS this morning ;o)

TUCSON, AZ(Zone 9a)

I would take at least 2 , Please please Dave!! :)))))))

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

This one isn't too bad. It would be like the old one anyway. With all the added charges, I have no idea what it would figure out to per cup. If this site has already been listed...ignore this post. LOL!

Brugie,
GREAT link,,,they are only $3.85 each in quantities of 72 or $3.25 each in quantities of 144. Much less expensive than the other site.

Don't know anything about this company, just Yahoo searched for it. They are a minimum 72 for 3.71 ea. You have to scroll down to the terra cotta one. It doesn't have a big picture, but maybe if you contacted them they might have more info on it. 14 oz. size.

Don't know anything about this company, just Yahoo searched for it.

I'm going to contact several of these companies today.

BTW: the price that ya'll are quoting is for the mug alone. When you add 3 or 4 colors printed, plus shipping, they usually end up being around $6 per mug. That's okay, by the way.

We'll get the mugs, one way or the other.

dave

Thanks Dave! We know how much you always try to please us. We sure appreciate all you do! :)

Adamstown, MD(Zone 6b)

Dave - I think you should go for a pretty large quantity (hopefully at a nice discount). Sounds like these mugs will be bestsellers for sure.

Yay! I NEED those mugs! LOL I'm a coffee fiend and I can't stand to drink out of a cup I don't like!

Starkville, MS

I just knew if I kept poking around others would pick up on it and help me nudge this into reality! I will gladly prepay for at least two. Yahoo!, we'er gonna get mugs!!!!! Dave, you're the greatest!

I'm with you, girl. I've been wanting them ever since we got T shirts. Just love the pics of the terracotta ones they had first time round. :)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I love my mug. For the first year or more, I used it as a pencil holder by the phone. Now it is in use as an actual coffee mug, so I think I'll have to get another one or two.

Well, you will all be happy to learn that I ordered mugs today! I ordered 288 of them and if I'm happy with their quality, and we sell them all then I'll order another 288.

Hopefully this company will come through for us and actually deliver.

dave

Lilesville, NC(Zone 7b)

WOOOOHOOOO Dave, Your the best..... I cant wait to get mine..let us know when we can begin to put our orders in and for how much :o)

Char

They will be $8 plus shipping.

I'm hoping to be able to offer them by April 15th. Perhaps earlier.

dave

Woohoo!! Thank you Dave!!! :)
