My neighbours have several pigs and at least two times in the day (when they clean the boxes) in my lovely garden I can smell their bad odor. Could it be possible to plant a screen of plants to deterr this odor?
Odor from my neighbour's pigs
I'm sure plants would at least help.
Personally I would welcome the pigs here....I'd consider them "yuppie repellants".
LOL!
Michelle,
Maybe your girls would like pigs for 4H?
Welllll...nobody would be bothered on one side or behind me because there are a good 4-5 acres between us. The people on the other side however live about 20 feet from the fence and where I thought might be a good place for pigs, back behind the chicken coop. Ahem. There is a tree line between us....
A good wind can take that smell for miles ;)
good Dana!
:)
I'm sorry for you, carmenciora; I'm very sensitive to smells. Perhaps something fragrant and tall would help. Good luck!
