Not much to "I spy" on this one. This is a different clump. Very nice varigation - like Ribbon grass, but not out of control.
Fresh pot of coffee for 3/7/06
Al, I think it looks so nice out there in the snow.
I'm off to bed...Good night to all!
Andy - you know my dog licks it's nose everytime after he smells something . I think it must cleanse the nose palette.
We sometimes tease him to make him do it a lot - it's fun.
Good Morning!
Coffee's on! Plus a little bit of the newspaper:

Good morning! Thanks for the coffee Dave(nD) and for the good read.
: )
Dena, Getting any sleep these days?
I have a cleaning job this morning, it will be my last for this house. I wont be able to figure out whats going on with my schedual at Home Depot untill this training is over so, I'll be sleeping like normal till then. The lady I work for today told me I have to come back to her if things don't work out at my new job. She offered to adopt my family so we could have health coverage. She is so funny. She made me promise to keep in touch. : )
so..I leave you guys alone and your doing wierd things with pipefor's and grass?? Explains alot! So glad no one missed me.
Cute kids Al - I have a feeling, based on the smile of your son, that he's just like you? And that maybe, like my youngest niece, the red eye is not from the camera?
Dave - I guess it's good that you're not an accountant.....
Dena, it must make you feel good that your current employer offered you that. She must really have liked you [hush up Al]. It might work out as a good side job for extra money now and then.
Well, I have to get ready for work.
Anita, the lady I work for is very sweet, and I've found someone I hope will work out for her to take my place. I will have to make sure I see her often.
I hope you have a great day...talk with you later?!
I'm off to. Chow for now!
I forgot to mention how adorable your kids are! (I also saw Reece's red eyes and thought about Al's genes)
All right! I made 2 very lame attempts at humor yesterday. This is why I need a vacation. (That and maybe getting self-rightous on a couple of other forums)

I'm in for another cup.
Interesting about those plants. That's why I sneak up on them if I'm going to whack them.
Dena's in spring training?
Sorry I was not on the thread last night. Had some work to do, a phone call from my long-lost neice in Florida, etc.
Al !!! GREAT looking kids !! They look like they have a sweetness about them, by their sort of shy-looking smiles. Your daughter is very pretty, and your son looks like he's going to be a heart stealer someday. Thanks for showing them to us. Maybe the others have seen them, since I'm new here.
How about the rest of you? Kids? Spouses? I am married with two sons in their thirties. But I started much younger than Al did. No grandkids. The sons are single.
I just always seem to be in a hurry. No time for "coffee" really. Jury duty today. Can't be late! Bye!
Good to see you on the other side of the railing for a change Nancy!
Me..Never married and no children, but I borrow my nieces frequently!
Al - you sneak up on your plants before you whack them? Isn't that kind of wierd?
Yes Dena - I should be on later tonight
Kinda wierd, trying to think what I last threw out. I know my Evening Primrose is going this spring.
Never married and no kids -huh
actually I've been talking with Pirl - and hope she's not reading this
AL...what's HUH mean?
You leave Pirl alone - she's the first person who welcomed me when I joined DG...made an excellent first impression of this site and convinced me from that point on that it was worth staying.
Amazing how vague one word can be huh? he he
Hey I welcome people all the time, I just wasn't there for you when you needed me **hanging head in shame**
I'm not picking on her don't worry - I think she's sending me dahias.
now we'll see if she's watching
she's got some beautiful Dahlia's...that word always makes me think of Zsa Zsa..
those are alot of headstones...boy are you tough!
Silly! There's no b's in sedum! (smiling)
I have a guess, which I'll dmail to you. I don't want to spoil it for the others, if I'm right.
Hey! I was right! More games please, Andy!
am I supposed to dmail or post here?
D-Mail was naps idea.
How many bees?
Post here.
I see six bees
Andy, I saw 6 bees too.
Nancy, married with 4 kids (32,22,13 &6) I'm married to Anita.
Dave
Dave, does Anita know??? She seems to think she's single!!!
I did my civic duty in court today. The guy was innocent. We all agreed.
Good job Nancy!
Anita kinda goes back and forth on it but she always leaves the kids with me! She doesn't even remember our honeymoon.
In all honesty, I have my own wonderful Anita on this side of Long Island sound. The confusion has been allowed to be a running gag.
I could only find 6 bees also, although there were a lot more when I aimed the camera.
It was slow on this thread, so I threw this out as a distraction.
Last time I had jury duty the guy was Innocent, too. I got to be the Foreman that time.
I must be due again soon, every 3 years without fail.
Andy P
Andy, someone at work lent me a book on PSP9 and I was glancing through it today. It's great! The manual I got with the program is about two inches thick and very difficult to read. This book speaks in language I can follow. I learned a few things already, just thumbing through it. I wish rcn Debbie would hop on and tell us about the photoshop seminar she was going to yesterday.
Oh Anita! I forgot to respond to the question about snow. We had temps in the 50's today, and rain. So you'd be hard-pressed to find more than a tuft or two of snow left. Send some of those robins this way....(but don't tell Al. He's a little possessive about robins).
Dave, that's about the widest range of kids' ages I've ever seen! As the mother of a 32 year old also, I can't imagine having a 6 year old too. The years take their toll on the muscles and joints. I commend you.
Nancy, I'm 51.A fairly young parent of a 32 year old and a old father for a 6 year old. Sometimes its exhauting but mostly very wonderful. Only one of our children "arrived" in the traditional way. We are also foster and adoptive parents.
Dave
AGAIN I commend you!! Congratulations on such a wonderful family! I think I want to make you my new 'hero'.
Goodnight.
All-in-all we have gotten as much out of this as we have put in.
But thank you very much.
yeah - he tires me out...that's why I leave the kids with him!!
Two bees?
Or not two bees?
LOL!!!! That is the question....right?
Checking back in - the Photoshop seminar in Richmond was fast and furious but fantastic! Now if I could only remember how he did everything :) He covered so much in one day, our heads were spinning! Andy, I'm getting ready to send you Dmail with a short how-to on "collage" :) nap, if you need any advice, I'd be happy to help, but never quite got the hang of Irfanview and never worked with Paintshop.
Anita, I think you're right, we'd be about five weeks ahead of you. When I lived in Maine, your area was always about 5 weeks ahead of me, and now I'm done here, everything's almost two months ahead!! This has been a pretty mild winter for us, although we had three weeks of record breaking cold temps during December. Not too much snow this year and with the warmer temps seems like everything is going to bloom earlier than in years before. Yesterday it was in the low 70's and overnight temps are staying in the 40's or above so things should be popping soon!
Al - great pic of the kids! Your son reminds me of mine when he was younger - that "look" - my father used to say my son had alot of "character" - I told him you call it what you want, but I always referred to him as "devilish" :)
Dena, my "hours" would scare you! "early to bed, early to rise" - hoping when the time 'springs ahead' - I can get my time clock adjusted :) One of the things I miss most about living in the northeast is when that sun starts rising around 4:30 :) Used to love it in the spring - the birds would wake me up and I'd be chomping at the bit to get out in the gardens - my favorite time of the day when everyone else was still sleeping and no one to bother me when I was digging in the dirt :)
Dave, you heading to FL this weekend? My daughter just got back from Disney yesterday and I'm still waiting to get her pictures and a report. I never made it there and probably never will - it's just too much chaos for me - give me peaceful botanical gardens any day :)
Did any of you get snow yesterday? Got a call from my sister in Maine last night and she said it was miserable up there - hated to tell her it was 70 degrees here yesterday :) Big day planned for outside work today to take advantage of the warmer weather, so will check in later - hopefully I'll have some pictures to share soon.
Debbie
