Sure here's me uploading pics after 234 posts, and on dial-up.
Is Canada's W*I*N*T*E*R back???
LOLOLOLOLOL (almost reaching for a pillow here).........no wonder you've been reporting winters doing just fine there! ;) Methinks the true division, between East and West, is the SK/MB border.
Your poor DH.......does he know how much we pick on him?

Yes, well you could be right. We are right in the center of the continent, but apparently we're not central, if you know what i mean.
I'm still shaking my head in wonderment here! :0
We had way more snow this time last year. The little bird bath way in the distance was almost covered. I can already see the piles shrinking, but we're supposed to get more tonight. Just lovely. Everything will be nice and fresh AGAIN.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL :') I may not have it but thank you sooooooo much for the laughs! :D
BTW I wasn't including lower coastal BC in my East/West division........dem lucky ducks are in a whole different stratosphere. ;)
Soferdig, Sounds like an interesting job. lol
How long are you there for?
Joan
A little over a week. Then off to Zehunataneio (sp). Just think Alaska to Mexico in less than 36 hours. Oh Boy.
Soferdig, sounds pretty neat to me. lol

Beautiful scenery.........I'mma thinking you'll be warming up pretty quick. ;)
Echoes a winter pic of here for you.........
Two boys from DS's High School.......? spins in the air moments after his buddy barreled over him at the bottom of the icy toboggan hill near Valleyview Drive Wednesday afternoon. The two Peacock students, along with about a dozen more friends, were doing the stunt as part of a film they were making for the Peacock Spring Lit Production.
Our streets and sidewalks look the same.........I kiss daily the Easterner's ice tires we picked up. ;)

The daffys are a nice touch.
I guess it won't last long for your though?
Joan
WEll, we just had another dump fo very large fluffy flakes again, but luckily it is warm enough that it didnt' stick this time!!! Usually, snow doesn't last too long around here!
Glenda
Pam just think the joy people who live on vancouver Island lose out on when they can't express the happiness he has on his face sliding down a hill in that snow all winter.
We zone 4ers are so fortunate. Hee Hee
LOLOLOL oh how I love your outlook Sofer! ;) Them streets and sidewalks, in a hilly town, have been such a joy this winter. ;b
Glenda for some reason your pics just fit this winter perfectly. Now that you and Blooms have gotten snow I'm expecting to hear Florida got it too. ;) AND I'll get more friggen rain (just in town tho......it'll keep skipping the country.....EXCEPT it'll turn to snow above :bRegina;). Or head off to Winnipeg.
There must be some draw about a town encased in ice tho cause my DS served Elvis Stojko http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Park/6630/Elvis_Stojko.html at our Superstore this pm!?! :)

I must admit the kids do love it when they can put one foot ahead of the other, at the top of the hill, and slide down 5 blocks (without moving a muscle;). The teens esp. do show a particular happiness 'bout that! ;)

We had over 10 hills in my home town that every Saturday we would slide on and socialize. It is some of my favorite memories. I have a sled outside my back door to head down the hill when I get home at night. My Jack Russell Sophie loved to ride on my lap and especially loved to jump off the sled into the deep snow while sledding down to the elk. She had a big smile on her face as soon as she saw the snow. Surf was up this morning on the water up here.
I think my kids will share those same special memories with you. ;)
LOLOL re surf's up! I suppose you have your board handy?
Great picture!
Sounds like fun Sofer - great looking place. Joan

Elvis in MJ? What was he doing there? Skating on the hill?
LOLOL must have been the challenge that drew him here! ;S I'll have to ask DS (twas something happening in Regina). He said the staff were twitterpated (small town here remember;) and Elvis was really friendly.
He looks like a real nice friendly guy. Nice to know it's not just a put on persona.
He really was just a country boy that got made a fuss over.
LOLOLOL ;)
Which Elvis are we talking about here? Cdn or USA?
Well I'm pretty sure mine's CDN but they do say the U.S. one is still being spotted all over. ;)
OK I'll bite who is the CDN elvis?
This one wears skates: http://slam.canoe.ca/SlamElvisStojko/home.html
