Anyone else experiencing intermitent slow and fast posting times?

I post one time and it flies through,,,post the next time and it's snail pace again?

One I waited 10 min and it never did go through.

Yup - same here this morning. In fact, it took about 10 minutes just to access this thread.

same same here, and im home sick n whiney, was gonna read all day.

The search engine was the culprit this morning. I'm taking that thing completely offline until further notice.

Starting now, the site should be fast today.

Dave, I'm so sorry you are having so many headaches. Do you know what the original culprit was, or are you still figuring that out?

Dave, would it be feasible to redirect the searches to Google's advanced search (limited to DG)? Or plug in the Google search engine, like you did in the past? I know some people groused about how the results are displayed (they look different, that's true.) But I think most of us would rather have Google than no search engine ;o)
