Jacksviolets...free plants..thanks Bob!

I haven't gotten mine yet. He emailed me yesterday or the day before and said he'd had a family situation that prevented him from shipping last week. Said he'd begin shipping again this week, in the order that purchases were made. I told my hubby, I'm probably #76 on the list! LOL I'm just anxious to get them. I'll certainly take and post pictures when they get here. You know how I love to share pictures with all of you!

Lorry, do you mean the free ones or the ones your ordered a week or so before me? I really will be down on the list if you haven't gotten the ones you bought! Oh well, I can wait. :o)

Got an email from Jack. He shipped mine today. Woohoo! Can't wait for them to arrive. Brace yourself for plenty of pictures when they do! We're actually supposed to have some warmer (compared to last week, anyway) nights this week, so hopefully they'll make the trip in good shape. I've got my fingers crossed.

rain...glad they're on the way....please make sure yours don't sit anyplace...mine were delivered by the p.o and i was here when they came...but many of the leaves were "cold"...i wrote jack and he asked me what i wanted replaced...i asked for 3 of my 10 to be replaced...i suspect the cold weather got to them as he is an excellent packer...and the size is hard to beat..i have however cut off many leaves but i feel the plants will survive...we'll be anxious to see your pics and you'll love them..

Mine will stay at the post office til I pick them up, so they won't sit out here. What happens to them along the way remains to be seen. That's very kind and honest of Jack to replace those three for you, as not all sellers will do that. I'm glad he's one of those that do. Makes me feel better buying from him. :o)

Rainbowviolets is the same - she will replace anything damaged or destroyed in transit.

I heard from Jack and he said my 4 free ones will be on there way soon.
He apologized for the delay in transit :)
And I told him not to worry about it.
I have been very pleased with all of my purchases from him

I have not read thru this thread but was interested in purchasing from Jack. Is there a list that shows who is next on receiving free plants if I do purchase?

I was the one who ordered from him in the past and therefore the one the other two used :)
I believe Junglebob and Raingazer have also bought from him...so you could ask them...They are probably next on the list!

well i sent him email saying that i needed 3 replaced...but i have not heard from him about them...i did tell him i was not in a hurry...and i note that they moved from Mn to Mo in past few months...so suspect that in itself wasn't easy....than he said he had some family problems...so i suspect he's taking things in order..

DID he move again ? He moved last year ? I had ordered my second or third set of ten plants early last summer . The first set I bought and paid and did not hear anything for ten days . Not even a Thank you for buying. Then he said sorry he had been moving. On the third set of ten plants ( they were going toward the 30 plants I was donating to a Salvation Army's summer day camp for their garden week. ) The box came and all the plants were horrid ! I emailed him. Jack did replace all the plant and never asked me to pay extra shipping either ! I told him it did not matter the names and they could even come in plastic cups
but good condtion as they were for the kids. I also sent 30 white and 30 green pots the kids painted them ! And I set soil-less mixture in gallon bags so the kids could plant the new plants into the painted pots !
I wanted to send all good size blooming plants and new I was not going to have 30 plus blooming plants that's why I ordered ten from Jack ! It all worked out and the kids loved them all the way up to the High School kids :))

Well this was like last June he moved when I ordered.

got email from jack...he sent my 3 av's today...i thanked him and sent pic i had taken of Rob's soliloguy and told him to feel free to use it if he wanted to..
