Well, Lorry and Allison, I hope and think you know that I wasn't snubbing my nose at the leaves you offered me of the ones I ended up buying. I just couldn't help but want an actual plant of a few of them. I can't wait to see the blooms of Ma's Corsage, Winter Parasol, and Rob's Sarsparilla! Starting from leaves would have just been too long! But I'll be thrilled to share my leaves! :o) Now that I've got my housecleaning done for today, I'm going back to see what Jack has left. ;o)

Allison, I just love the fantasy in B-Man's Cosimo! There are so many I can hardly wait to see bloom! Even my poor hubby has heard me go on and on so much about AVs he sat down and looked at some pictures with me last night so he'd have some clue about what I keep yapping about. LOL Bless his heart!

FC says blue. Oh the plants I mentioned above I had that Jack has are plants not leaves I did grow them by leaf ! But their plants :))

And not going to ship to Laurie until she comes back from Florida have tons of special set aside for her. And waiting for it to warm up for Jill as she has special ones waiting to go to her home too. Gosh I love growing by leaf to share these babies :))

Oh Allison, I'd rather have plants from you any day! I didn't buy any that either of you said you had plants of, I don't think. Before I bought them I came back to the threads here to check, so if I did, it was accidental. Lorry sent leaves of Rebel's Crested Robin and Rob's Toorooka, but the only Rob's plant I have is Boolaroo. Remember me asking about the second crown? LOL I can buy AVs at a store or online any time, but they mean so much more to me if they come from a friend. All my plants do. I enjoy thinking of the person who thought enough of me to share with me, when I look at my plants. And you know whatever you choose to send to me I'll be tickled pink with!
These are the ones I was trying to decide between if I bought 5 more from him. I'll list them and see if you have any of these. If so, I won't buy them.

Amy, I have or had Ozio, I can't remember if it's one that bit the dust or not, BUT I am pretty sure I have leaves down! So I'll check and get back with you. BUT it will be a wait, since I don't have ears yet on any of my leaves down. If you're like me, you aren't good at waiting and will splurge on the plant. of course that means that then you'll have leaves to share also! =)

I have four plantlets of wranglers cowboy blues..if anyone is interested but not jealous heart.
I have some plantlets names spectacular from D&P greenhouse but not sure if it is Lyons specatacular.

I may still end up ordering if I find something I must have, here, in bloom, asap. However, I agree with folks here about plants from friends being much more special than plants you've purchased.... it's not just about saving money in our garden budgets, LOL... And plants you've purchased *with* a friend (like my haul from Violet Gallery with Nanna last fall) are special too!

I agree too - I just spent part of the morning babying them. I had ordered some self watering pots from ebay http://stores.ebay.com/TANSU-GARDEN-ART_SELF-WATERING-POTS_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQftidZ2QQtZkm . They have beautiful pots! I took the chance to repot my mini [Hector], Chirita and 2 streps [Susie and Captain Blood]. Now I am checking out websites for my wish lists. I figured I would create a list and start checking it off as I acquire them. Of course, I am also keeping my eyes pealed for outdoor garden gems as well!!

I found a picture you took of a butterfly on heliotrope -- that's the tender perennial with the fabulous scent, right? Do you overwinter it? LMK if there's any chance of swapping for a start of one... I love fragrant plants!

Sure - I have 4 downstairs. If I get more good growth, I'll root some more for you. I also ordered some white for the spring - once I get that, I'll be happy to root some for you. Just let me know.

Those two were my last minute "gee those are gorgeous, I'll just get them, too" purchases. Now there will be plenty of those leaves to share! LOL
Love the wasps! They're so pretty. Leaves of them would be great! I believe I even have Blue Tail Fly on my wishlist. Wedgewood looked so pretty that I had to get it and I didn't remember seeing any mention of it on here (though it probably has been).

LOL You don't sound very confident, Lali! Sorta like me... Ihave those overwatering tendencies too. Our house is so dry it's hard to keep stuff watered, so tend to overcompensate with too much water. I'm trying to be very careful, though.

Bob that's pretty much the way I shopped, too. Pink Jitterbug evidently has no information available about it anywhere, but it looks so pretty I couldn't resist. That's what it's all about though, really, is having plants you think are pretty and make you happy! :o)

It is awesome! LOL I also have neverland dreams..which has very similiar foliage..I can send you some of that also! They were pricey but worth it!

No, I've never had one... I've heard they were a little tricky from seed, so they kept going on my "maybe next year" list! Anita, I'm counting on you for overwintering tips! (I'm assuming it has to come inside.)

Oh yeah - definitely needs to come in. My mother plant is looking kind of sorry, since I've cut a bunch of tips off for rooting. Very tempermental with rooting too - I have to leave it in a humidity dome until the roots are good otherwise it wilts quickly. I should think by April, that the plants should be good for travel. The white one will come from the grower in May, so you will have to wait a bit longer for that one.

Can't beat Jack's deal ten plants for about $50.00 :))
