I just wanted to thank Bob for the 2 free violets I am getting from Jacksviolets on ebay!
He has a great referral program and for every 5 plants someone you refer buys..he sends that person 1

WHo pays the shipping on the referral plants? does he pay? If so, that is a good deal. Since $4.95 is a good price for plants (with names!!) and s/h is included if you buy 10!

critter...nope...i am just unwise and didn't ck with anyone...i was doing the "strep" thing on ebay and found jacks...and sez...dang..a good deal...so i bought them and didn't know what others had......i made a big mistake..won't do that again..

Well, but you'll have the "instant gratification" of his plants arriving in bud or bloom, as opposed to waiting for Lorry's plants to be propagated. So it's not all bad!

critter...didn't choose the same 10....i don't think..but i haven't cked closely..think maybe 4 or 5 the same....that one variegated one...think ma second chance or something like that..i would have bought all 10 of that...lol

Erm Bob I think I have all but one that you ordered Bob but I would have to look at the list.
As critter said, You get them in bloom and a nice size plant :) So it is not all bad :)
And yes Critter, he ships with heat packs! and his plants are always very healthy.
I have ordered about 30 plants total from him in the past critter...so I could not tell you what I got from him without seeing the list you were interested in buying.

I browsed Jack's eBay store, and I think a lot of the ones I was looking at were wish list ones that somebody else may have for me at some point. So whether or not I order is more a question of whether I can be patient or whether I decide I must have one blooming here asap! LOL

I'm giving him Lorry's name, as she is the one who recommended him to me. I've gotten 5 from him so far. NO one around here sells named AVs. I've called every nursery around and they all tell me theirs are really pretty, but they don't have names. LOL

I know Lorry said she had, or thought she had, leaves of 2 or 3 of them, but those were my absolute favorites, so I figured I'd go ahead. I'm still toying with the idea of getting 5 more so I'll get free shipping. I'm a bargain shopper - the most-for-your-money kinda thing. Getting 5 it's $6.54 per plant, including shipping, but buying 10 would be $4.95 per plant, so that's a better deal. Getting 5 I'm paying for shipping almost enough to buy two more plants. More decisions...

Geez, I sound so cheap in that last post. Really, I'm not cheap, I'm truly frugal. There IS a difference, ya know! LOL

and some of these babies are growing too fast. I have them spaced perfect on the large trays no one touching each other and all fed. And boom a look a day or too later and their kncoking each other down. lol
