Maria, I didn't hit preview a while ago, so I missed the strudel. My goodness, that sure takes a lot of work. Don't blame the kids for taking it home with them.
Ann, I still think you need to take the 2X4 after that fellow. Honestly, I don't see how the place is going to operate when you leave even if they do have a competent volunteer that comes in once a week. I was disappointed to realize I couldn't read your wonderful article but know it's good. :)
Babs, you really stay on the run. It makes me tired just reading your posts. Good to see you back. Hope your Mom is getting along okay.
Well, the dirty dishes are calling my name.

VA, that stinks that a woman could earn a BA at age 80 and then not live long enough to enjoy it.
OK I'm attaching a moonflower picture, if I can find it. My picture files got really messed up when I replaced my hard drive, and I haven't figured out how to resort them they way they were before. The picture is really dark but you can get the idea of the size of the blooms. The leaves are huge too. It completely covered the trellis and after I salvaged seeds and frost hit it it took me about two hours to unwind the vines.Watch for an envelope, Darius.
Sammi continues to terrorize the girls...haven't seen Souky for hours. When she wants to hide out, she goes in DH's closet and climbs up on a sweater shelf. Warm and cozy,no Sammi or Mini to annoy her...she has us well trained too, but Oskar was the champ. He'd come up and tap me on the leg, and then lead me to what he wanted, water, food, blinds opened so he could see outside.....walk towards the bedroom door when he thought it was time for me to go to bed, and go "myat" ito get my attention.
Maria, that strudel looks heavenly! I haven't done that in years, I'm getting lazy about putting that much work into something that disappears in minutes! Did make some nice broiled lamb chops tonight for dinner. I enjoy cooking but not for just two people, I'd rather feed a room full. I'll just have a little slice of yours.
Wow, Molly,an attack cat!! Next time you visit there, take a spritzer bottle with you! And put some peroxide on those marks! I have a collection of little scratches from Sammi, who hasn't learned to play with his claws in yet. I gave him another little manicure this afternoon when he was drowsy, so we're good for a couple of days again. He's getting long legged already. Eats like a starving refuge. He's going to be a big boy. The girls still hate him. Mostly because he's such a pest, charging at them, trying to entice them to play.
Nice to see you again, Babs, you surely have been spreading yourself thin....you'll need a long vacation to recover from all your efforts.
Dcat, I love to wallpaper. Go figure! I've done it every house I've lived in, except this one. And the only reason I haven't done it here is because of the excessively high ceilings and open concept....no good place to stop when all the walls run to every room. Had to settle for borders.
Aieeee! Gotta go, Lost is on. LOL see your tomorrow and hello to everybody else.
Molly - You might want to go back to that place and make sure their cat is up to date on its shots. Cat scratches and bites can get very nasty. Hope all works out well.
Maria - That strudel looks SO good!
Viola - Yes, DH is a foreman for the road dept. He gets called in when there is bad weather, or if a road needs to be blocked for something like a car accident or a down tree.
Elaine - That "Cats guid to Humans" was too cute. I sent it to a couple of coworkers who have cats. Glad your baby tomato plants are doing well.
MaryE - I had a cat once that would let me vacume her. She would just stretch out and let me run the end of the vacume up and down her side and back. She was a Maine Coon and a real character.
Sarv - Good for you not answering that phone! The gardening class sounds similar to something I do in the March. Rutgers Univ. has a home gardenrs school. It's one day and four classes. I really learn alot, but by the 4th class, my brain is on overload. Good thing most of the instructors give out good notes. Brain capacity isn't what it used to be, LOL.
Well, my eyes are getting heavy. 5 a.m. will be here before I'm ready for it. Have a couple more things to do before be so I'll see you all tomorrow. Nitey nite all!
Good evening all. My day was a bear. DS and I started papering about 8:30 this morning, and finished about 7:30 tonight. We were determined to finish in one day. Usually it takes a day and a half. We papered Mom's kitchen which has 6 openings, and cutting around the cabinets etc, it is a very hard room to paper. But it looked very good when we were done. She kept fretting about the "mess", but cleaned up for her when we were done. I have read all of todays posts, and will not , CANNOT POST a reply to all, too tired. I usually don't get to bed before 1:00 am, but tonight looks like a 10:00 oclock one for me.
Only going to say, Babs, glad that you have a break and posted to let us know that you have been busy, please don't over extend youself, you can't be of help to anyone if you are out of commission.
Well I am off to look at a couple of forums and then off to bed for me. I promise I will be more hospitable tomorrow.
Good night all.
Hi All,
Tomorrow's daily is up in the Parking Lot
Here's the link if anyone needs it.

Good Night,
Kelly
Well, just taking a quick look before going to bed.
We'll see about the 2 x 4. I think and hope that he's beginning to see that the client files are important. Maybe after he rules the roost (that's actually laughable with all the strong-willed volunteers around the place) for a week without me around he'll have it under control.
M5 does that moonflower bloom at night? The one I have isn't in the same family and, I think, has attracted that name from some people just because it blooms at night. But it's not a vine.
defoe, I hope that your arm doesn't bother you too much tomorrow after all that work.
Darius, it IS a shame that Mary didn't live longer after earning her BA, but she DID have 5 years. And she was THRILLED when she did earn it. At the visitation there must have been half a dozen or more photos of her graduation. It meant a lot to her just to get it.
Good night, all.
Ann
