Hi everyone,

Just checking in----haven't posted in a day or two, too tired or too depressed (take your pick). Think I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. I'm almost done with all the counting and figuring for the end of the business year. Of course now I have another headache, just got a newsletter from the accountant that's been taking care of our taxes for the last few years. She's having another baby sometime this month. Drat! Looks like we may have to break in a new one this year and we have a lot of business questions too (DH has not been able to get another job and we're thinking of trying to do an Ebay extension to the business --- just not sure how best to set things up. ie, should he do it as part of my existing business, set up his own, etc., etc.)

I have been reading everyone's posts but find that my memory is not up to the job! Lets see ---- I've dated my share of losers too, but also a couple of guys who have turned out to be lifelong friends, so I guess I've been lucky. High school reunions, no thank you. I hated the place when I was there even though I graduated third in my class. I only had one friend in that class (the rest were in the next year's class) so could see no reason at all to attend a reunion.

All the pics of the four-footed family members were great. Maybe I'll get around to taking a picture of some of ours some day.

Best wishes and warm regards to all who are recuperating from surgery or illnesses.

Regarding the difficulty of getting back up once we manage to get down ---- yeah, been there. I'm not too bad at the moment, but even as a kid had that happen a couple of times. I remember once doing something to my back as I was shoveling snow and ending up having to try to climb the back stairs while bent at a 90 degree angle. No fun!(and I was probably all of 16 or 17 at the time)

Yup, love those Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupons. Like most people who like to cook, I love kitchen gadgets! I try to stay away for the most part though, as we already have too much stuff to fit comfortably in this house.

Okay, that's it for me as my brain seems to be turning to mush ---- time to go to bed! Goodnight Gracie.

Bonnie, the doggie ice cream was purchased from the grocery store... in the freezer section.

Beef Burgundy is just Beef Bourguignon with an American pronunciation. http://www.elise.com/recipes/archives/000640beef_bourguignon.php

darius, that needs to be BOEUF Bourguignon! LOL

Do you mean you lost your Presidents' day holiday in February? I remember when I was growing up, one year we'd celebrate Lincoln and the next Washington's birthday. I thought they got consolidated into one general holiday to celebrate both.

Better get to bed. With two rehearsals tomorrow, I need to be on my toes.

Good night all.

Well have been on here for way too long. Alarm will ring before I am ready for it. So to all, it has been an enjoyable day reading and posting, so sleep tight, and let that fur kid in the bed with you.

Night John Boy.
