For my Northern USDAZ6 , it would be Hibiscus Coccineus .
What is your favorite winter hardy hibiscus species ???
i have never met a hibiscus i didn't like.
THEY are all beautiful for sure :))) ...... but I am always looking for new species that will survive our USDA Z6 winters . There always seems to be an obscure species hiding SOMEWHERE in the bushes to experiment with :))
I have red, pink and white that come back every year-i like the red the best then the white --i like them all!!!!
they are so BIG when in bloom.
