Has anyone ever tried the Bionic gardening gloves? They were designed by an orthopedic surgeon and are supposed to help ease pain etc. from arthritis. www.bionicgloves.com they are $40.00 so I don't want to order unless someone says they are worth it..even though they say money back.....
Bionic gardening gloves?
I just love 'em. I get mine from fellow DG'er HandHelperr. Be sure to get the ones with
reinforced fingers. I like the velcro closure at the wrist. I would not wear any other glove!
(the regular ones w/o reinforcement are wonderfully comfortable but wear out pretty quickly.
I'm so glad they came out with the sturdier ones!) That link show's the reinforced ones
as xwear.

levilyla...Yep, I agree w/Tammy, you might want to check out Handhelpers.com
http://handhelpers.com/index.htm
She offers quite a few ergonomic products specifically designed to ease hand stress. (Plus I noticed she has a link to DG on her home page...anyone that supports DG is a good sign!)
Shoe.
edited to add the Garden Watchdog link to Handhelpers. There are some good reports specifically geared towards the bionic gloves there! Hope this helps!

Thanks...I have a question for anyone who has used these gloves gardening....Can you "feel" in them? This may sound strange but I rarely wear gloves unless it is cold or I am dealing with stickers etc. I have to be able to feel what I am doing in the ground. I do wear foxgloves sometimes but I have terrible arthritis and need something better. Thanks, Nancy
I never wore gloves, except under extreme circumstances for the same reason.
The bionic gloves are fairly light leather (hence the need for the reinforcements on
the finger tips). I think you get about as good a feel as you'll ever find in a glove
with them. (I've not tried foxgloves so can't say for comparison).
I bet if you emailed Hand Helpers she could give you the compare to foxgloves!

Thanks....will do.
We absolutely LOVE the gloves we got from Handhelper.com. Toby is great to deal with and has very fast shipping too. My DH has totally worn his out but says they are still the very best gloves he has ever had and wants me to order another pair.
You can't go wrong ordering from Handhelpers.
