Coffee and...For Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005
Whoo, Hoo. Look at me. I am here. Ha Ha Ha.
Sorry, a little to much wine I think. LOL
Casey,,,have one for me,,,, LOL
Kelly
I think there is a lush in our midst!! LOL
Good Morning! My arm feels like someone took the 2x4 to it...man it is really painful this morning. I tossed and flopped all night long. I haven't taken my gluco/chron for two days and am wondering if it really does work!!
Carat- saying prayers here for the smooth sailing of the new house. Let us know as soon as you find out so we can celebrate with you (and hopefully not cry with you)
DGS is over for the night. Kids brought him over - they were going to a local pub to meet some friends. DH and he watched the history channel for hours - it was so funny. They were talking about big foot and DGS wouldn't keep quiet - he loved it!
Defo - do you hit preview before you send? I never do. Maybe that is your problem with things going 'poof'
Speaking of recipes- I have a cupboard for just them. Unfortunately I have so many, that I keep them in big baggies and several of them. You have to be careful opening the door, so sometimes things just gush out. One of my retirement jobs was to organize them into a big notebook - not done yet!! I am always tearing things out of magazines and the paper.
Kitty, I'd give my right leg to SEE a sunset- we haven't had the sun shine in weeks. Even the news people are talking about the lack of it. All we see is rain, gray and gloom. And I'm finding my bad eating habits kicking into gear again!!
Speaking of which, time for some breakfast! Who's making banana pie- I'd love a piece...

Good morning every one
Sarv, three times ???? who is the lush so early in the morning/ LOL LOL LOL LOL
The bad weather must have really thrown you a curve, I do understand how awful it is without sun for days, very depressing!
We have had wonderful sunshine for quite a few days, but it ended with fog and rain today
Casey, I don'd know how you stand it having to wait for sooo long to finally get in to your new house , I wish you swift days
Glad you made it GG, darn computers!
Don't know why it goes into cyber spacet, defoe, it happens to me quite a few times
Sheesh, I am embarassed. The darn computer was acting up. Defoe - I felt your pain in losing what you posted. This has never happened before. I was so upset, I scarfed down a honey bun covered with peanut butter!! LOL I'll quit hitting the send button now!!
don't be embarassed, Sarv, have done the same many times ;-)
Oh sarv, what a giggle. Always catches you out when you're giving advice, doesn't it!
Honey bun, with peanut butter? Mmmmmmmm, we used to have peanut butter with home made apricot jam, people here just don't understand!
So sorry you are having such rotten weather, time to order some more seeds and look forward to next growing season....
Thanks all for the warm welcomes, and here is a lovely picture of our snow still hanging around, through my front window. There is a teensy weensy sunset peeking through
Good morning to everyone. I asked if I could join the group and then just sort of disappeared.
I woke up yesterday with a viral bug of some sort, but it's gone now. I slept for a solid day and just drank water whenever I woke up. My daughter made the absolutely best chicken pot pie last night for dinner 'cause she thought that would taste good to me. And brought me a smoothie.
So today I am vertical again, but it's rained all night here, so I still won't get the last of my bulbs in today. Oh, well.........
Banana pie for b'fast? Oh well, why not? I just don't happen to have any.
There were some things on the thread I joined on that I wanted to comment on, but don't remember now what they were. Getting old is no fun.
Hope everyone has a good day.
It is a lpvely picture, Wallaby, just beautiful !!
Sorry you caught something not very pleasant, just take it easy, GG, so it won't come back!
Good morning,
Still trying to get through the thread from yesterday. I started several times yesterday and had to relinquish the computer each time before I finished writing a reply. (Something about DH's lab being closed this week.)
Welcome to wallaby1. Hope we get to talk with you regularly.
Babs - what a blessing it must be to have a neighbour like you. Certainly our thoughts and prayers will be with Bob as he and his family go through this.
Janis - good luck when you see the orthopod.
Dmc - I started to look at the pics of your new house and the computer curled up its toes and died. Will try again later today.
Susan - will be thinking of you and pepper. It never seems good when vets want to do more tests, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
wallaby1 - I also have a strong interest in genealogy, but no time. That's one of the items which will rise in the priorities when I retire at the end of January (and get my new computer). You really do have an interesting story.
okus - wish you were closer. I have an old floor lamp that my mother had and haven't been able to find a new lampshade for it. The shade you showed us is wonderful.
Carol (DR) - what good news about the greenhouse. And good customer service. I'd shout it loudly.
Sarv - I think you've identified the problem with things going "poof". At least for me. Once in awhile I will preview (most of my posts show that I don't preview too) and then I sometimes forget to actually send the message. Actually, given the difficulty I had in getting this post written, I think I may compose my replies in my Word Processor (WordPerfect for me - got NO use for Microshaft products if I can avoid them). There I can save them if I have to break my Internet connection or don't have time reading to the end of the thread and I can spell check too. ;-)
Hi 1gardengram - glad you're vertical again.
Well, I think I finally got to the end of the replies. Will have to comment later about what I've been doing. DD#2 and partner fly back to Vancouver later today and we are about to head out to DD#1's house to do things with them and grandtwins. And retrieve the 2nd car she's had all week. I think I'm coming down with a cold too. Decided to skip Aquafit after climbing up the stiars from the laundry room and finding myself winded.
More later. Have a good day.
Ann

I posted a long blather last night too and if went **poof** so I said a few naughty words and went back to my book. Finished one and started another. What with all the shopping and etc. I'm way behind and have a dozen pb's stacked up. Plus all my unfinished projects.
Started stripping a chair I picked up at a rummage, actually I got two the same, but one had already been done. Got the worst of the layers of paint off, and then the weather turned nasty so it's siting in the garage. I should drag it down to the basement and finish it. I lent my good folding chairs to DS and DIL and I'd like to get them back before they forget who they belong to. DH and I were kidding them that we just come over to visit our furniture.
Going over to see the new kitty tomorrow, DD wants to check his plumbing and make sure he's a he, and also give him the usual vet tech once over. Friend of mine has two new kittensand they are tearing up the house. Waiting to see her, as her Christmas present is still waiting, hope she comes after the new kid arrives!
Making waffles for breakfast if anybody wants one...or two. I'm still using my mother's old waffle iron, well seasoned and works great. It must be fifty years old. There's real maple syrup and boysenberry syrup on the counter....help yourselves.
Our Christmas cookies are all gone!! Not a crumb. Not even a single biscotti...but I still have some craisins, so I might make another batch of those. They were really good. Might try to beat the crowd for KingKong again today, we'll see if DH is up for it.
DIL just called, she's off next week, so we'll have to see what kind of mischief we can get into. DS will be out of town on a job. She's still catching up on organizing the household, all the things they had in storage are now in the basement and need sorting and repacking.
I hope I never move again!! I cannot imagine what it would take to pack up this house, and we've only been here five years. What do people do who live in a house for 20 or 30??!!
Hope everyone is feeling well and happy today...only three days left of 2005. Having our troops home and safe in 2006 is the only thing I wish for the new year.
Speaking of our troops, a friend just sent me this link. Unbelievable photography and shows so much more of the human side.

Good Morning everyone!
Casey...I think that wine got spilled and Sarv lapped it up.
LOL & LOL
Sarv...I've had those days when it seems that DG just doesn't want to "send" my posts, too. But I already know there's an inherent danger of multiposting if I hit send more than once. If the send button doesn't seem to be working, I'll quickly copy my whole post and then hit send again. If that doesn't work, I'll click on 'DG Home' and work my way to the thread again, go into the reply area and paste what I'd written before. At least that way I can see if my post really *did* get sent before I double up. (You know you could go in to edit and delete all the text in those duplicate sends if you wanted to.)
Good Morning Maria...How's Samson doing today?
Wallaby...what a gorgeous photo. And that tree is SO beautiful...I'd love to have something other than pines in my front yard (side yard, back yard...~sigh~). I'm jealous!
1gg...I'm glad you're feeling better today. Isn't it nice to have kids that will take care of you when you're not at your best. And that chicken pot sounds yummy!
(V) Ann...I sure hope you're *not* coming down with a bug...try some chicken soup (Or maybe you should try the Vicks vaporub on the bottoms of your feet and let us know if it works for you.
Sheila...you never cease to amaze me with your energy. Just the thought of all the binding and twisting and elbow grease that goes into stripping furniture puts me in the chair exhausted. (LOL I don't *think* well these days so even THAT takes energy I don't have.)
Time to "preview"....
Yep! 1gg is there. HI! (The link didn't work for me. :-( ...)
Well I've managed to reply to everyone (I think)...I'll be back later to tell you what's going on here.
~julie~
welcome Wallaby1
that picture is beautiful and Blu?
OOPs wrong thread LOL
good morning all hope it is a great day for everyone!
Anne
Well, I got over my temper tantrum last night, and decided that I would try again this morning to see where I could send this post.!!
I had to have DGD 20 miles away to meet her Aunt at 7:30 this morning. So while I was in town, did the wally world thing and the grocery, so I am at home doing some more laundry. DH ran the vacuum for me while I was gone. I really do appreciate that. He is taking his DM to hospital this afternoon for all the pre-op stuff for the surgery on Friday. Since the hospital is about 75 miles away, they are getting a hotel room, because she has to be there at 5:30 in the morning. So please everybody keep her in your thoughts and prayers today and tomorrow, as the Dr. told her without surgery she could live 3-18 months, and the surgery odds are 50-50. So she really didn't have much choice.
Casey, wine last night? How do you feel today? Let us know as soon as you find out about your new place.
Sarv, I sympathize with the arm pain. Some days mine is fine and others it really hurts. On my missing post last night, I thought I hit send, but it didn't say to whom it was sent!! Recipes- I found a recipe book, that has blank pages and I am going to be working on putting all my recipes in it for DGD, as she wanted to know what she would do if I died, before she got them!! Don't be embarrased about posting 3 times, I just wish that had been my problem. And a honey bun with peanut butter?
Maria, Good morning to you and Samson
Wallaby, lovely picture
1gardengram, so sorry to hear that you were not well.. Hope you are completely over "it"
Viola Ann, Good morning. So the company is off today, now just take a deep breath.
Meezer, Your post went into cyber space, and you just went back to reading without a tantrumm. Give the new kitty a hug from me. There is nothing cuter. And Stripping a chair, I have some that need it, maybe sometime this winter I will get to it.
Julie, My DH is a Leo, and we get along most of the time. I have been in this house 10 years, and it is absolutely crammed. I will not move. Told DH if we decide that we can't live together, will hire a contractor to partition this house into 2 apartments. I hadn't moved for 28 years and it took me 6 months to pack, sort and throw away things.
Gardengeek another Take charge Aires, go girl.
Well, I am off to strip the beds and get that done today too. I will check in later. I AM HITTING SEND!!
gg, could not receive your link, too bad!
Julie, Samson is fine, while throwing balls for him earlier he got quite dirty in this foggy and rainy weather, had to wash hime and put him in his grate, he did not mind at all, soooo tired, lol
Meezer, I still have some cookies, have some while I have some of your waffles, love them with maple syrup
I think you are not getting enough rest, Ann, take care of that cold
defoe, did not mean to miss you we posted at the same time.
Hope all go ok for your MIL,
Anne, I thought the same thing. BBLLLLUUUUU by you. LOL
Thanks for all the crossed fingers all. Still no news. My best friend and the realtors did the final walk through this morning and discovered the front door that was replaced wasn't hung correctly and allowed water in so that has to be fixed. But we told them not to hold signing over it. I want those papers signed and this done with.
I know for fact with the headache that I have right now that I didn't loose a drop of that bottle of wine. I think if check the bottle would be bone dry. DH figured with all the stress of the house I needed to relax. I can usually have a small glass of wine with dinner and go on with my life, but I guess we all know now that two glasses of wine in larger goblets makes Casey a bit dingy.
Wallaby, beautiful picture. Anne and I are referring to the BLU thread.
Sarv, my little friends in the computer didn't like you calling me a lush now did they. ROFL Timing is everything......
V Ann, I hope you are not getting sick. Does Canada carry any of that Airborne stuff designed by a teacher. It really seems to work with us at the school level and all the germs floating around here. The vicks on the feet seems to have some effect on a cold also.
Meezer, I am so excited about your new kitty. Have you decided on a name yet for him?
Well I am trying to keep myself occupied at work while waiting on some more news on the house.
Casey
1gg, looks like your link is prohibited without an index file, whatever that means.
julie having pines in your yard is a bit like having straight hair. Those that have it want curly, and the curly ones want straight! At least you don't have the acorns to fill the bin and be refused because it is too heavy for the lifting gear. Don't normally get many acorns, had TONS one year. The leaves are not a huge problem, not like the huge horse chestnut tree we have, the conikers fill the bin the other years, the leaves do however make fantastic compost. When I read about people having to get compost for their plants, THEN I am laughing. Not the rest of the time though, it is a year round tidy up job. First the sticky leaf sheaths that stick to yours and the cats feet, then the sticky flower nectar that drops on your car, then the small conkers that fall off everywhere, then the big conkers that fall off everywhere, then the thousands of sticks that held the flower stalks fall off everywhere, then the leaves fall off in a massive carpet, you clear 'most of them' up, and spend rest of late winter and spring if weather permits cleaning them from the beds so the slugs don't harbour and the new growths don't rot.
Sorry folks, got that out of my system for the umpteenth time. I love it really, don't need a garden umbrella either.
Glad to share my little delights with you all, but be warned, once started there's no stopping me. I have hundreds of photos taken this year! Promise to be selective.
Somebody fell on their side and has a bad arm, was it you sarv? Think I read someone else did the same. Was wondering if you have a cracked rib, but the shoulder muscles can be upset. I hope you all have a good recovery, but I don't think too much cookie making will help, so time to lay off the coookies. Rest those shoulders.
I have to be careful myself as have poor balance, can you see me in my greenhouses trying to tiptoe between everything and going head first towards the glass? I have done that, but tried very hard not to tread or sit on anything!
I have found too if you hit send and it comes up with a 'web page not responding', then if you check home page it does go in. A refresh will make a copy. It's when it just doesn't do anything that you lose it. Calm down everbody, it's just a computer.
Magoobu, even if it was the wrong thread I would like to know what Blu? is? And welcome too.
Janet
I want everyone to know that Chat is occuring and I cant get there and its driving me crazy. LOL I have tried everything to get it to work but these firewalls are so tough. Darn.
Wallaby, in the jokes forum there is a thread called blu. It is a LARGE thread and if you are on dial could take you a while to load. Read it and all will be revealed and then you also can be BLU....
Still no news.
Casey
if you dare the insanity Wallaby1 blu is a thread in jokes and chat that started by a mistake and took off with some fun and laughter!
It is odd it is funny it is friends being silly and "blu'
LOL
I will try later to post the link for you but if i forget just try the above going to that forum and hitting blu!
Good luck and all have a great day!!
BIL and family moved to our neighborhood yesterday so going to take them out and do some shopping and then have them all for dinner so will check back later!
Anne
cross posted with Casey! I too have tried chat and no way can get in!!!
Anne
Hi all
Well, I got up and at it this morning. Started in the bedroom stripping the bed, cleaned the bathroom and have worked my way on down the hall. Still don't have the tree down but have picked up most of the Christmas things. The DH will have to take the tree off as we had a live one this year. HD is having a recycling program, so we'll take it over there this week-end.
Poor Sarv, I had the same thing happen to me yesterday over in the prayer forum. I didn't realize it until much later. Couldn't believe it when I noticed it. LOL
wallaby1, so glad to see you back.
1GG, sure was sorry to hear you didn't feel good yesterday but am glad you're on the mend. That chicken pot pie does sound good.
Ann, so sorry to hear you're coming down with a cold. It won't be long now until your retirement. Maybe then you can slow down just a bit and take care of yourself.
Sheila, I was good today and sent all the sweet stuff to work with DH this morning. Had half a pumpkin pie, some divinity, a piece of cheese cake, a little bag of left over Halloween candy I'd been hording. *sigh* soooo that waffle was wonderful this morning. ;)
Defoe, I'll be thinking about your MIL and sending prayers. Hope all goes well.
Maria, Samson is such a good boy to not mind his crate. It was raining here yesterday and my girl just stands at the door and looks out. Makes me wonder what she'd do in the snow. LOL
Hi Susan. Am thinking about you and your Pepper. Hope you get better news.
Janis, hope you're feeling better today. We sure have a lot of folks and furbabies under the weather.
Casey, the DH just tried Airborne last Friday for the first time and made believers out of us. That was the night he let me rub his feet with Vicks, also. He was really feeling bad, and didn't want to be sick for Christmas so was willing to try anything. LOL
Well, I've got to get up from here. To those I've missed … hi and hope you're having a good day. Gonna go find me something for lunch. Will check back later.
… Elaine
Chat was very on / off this morning not your computor
And it is just computor,,,, don't take it personally LOL
Okay everyone I am sitting here in tears. The underwriters or someone within the loan paper process didn't do their job and the papers are not right and one of the papers that the judge demanded is missing so NO HOUSE!!!!!!
I haven't a clue right now as to what is going to happen. We have so much money tied up into this with the lawyers and other costs, I really want this house and this property but I am almost at my wits end here.
Well, for heaven's sake ! can't the missing paper be found and attached and then the thing goes thru? What's a judge got to do with buying a house?
Maria, sorry Samson had to be washed. If Mr. B. goes out and gets wet, I just towel him dry, as he hates the "bath" word.
Casey, relaxed, I think you must have been limp.
Wallaby, I like oak trees, but I don't have anything in my yard that drops anything other than leaves.
Magoobu, BIL moved, and you are fixing dinner for them, how nice.
101 I'm cleaning today too. Take mini breaks to check in. I was wondering about the Airbourn stuff. I will buy some and keep it on hand, just in case.
Well, everyone, thanks for your thoughts and prayers for MIL. I just wanted to remind you that her surgery is tomorrow. I know I told you last week, but there is so much that goes on, that it might have slipped your mind.
Well off to scrub some more, I'll be back later.
Oh, Carat, we posted at the same time. Fly down there, and get on your hands and knees, and beg. Surely there is something that can be done to correct the mistakes. I am saying prayers for you and this transaction.
HUGS!!
Okay, somehow in some southern lawyers head a rediculous contract was made up for a couple who had married very late in life. When the couple married they sold their separate homes, and the man bought and paid for the property in full and the woman bought and paid for the house in full. The property does not have the wife's name on it and the house deed does not hold the husbands name. Fast forward 20 years after the death of both a search of kin went on and the heirs named in the wills were found. South Carolina has probate laws and because it was such a screwed up situation a judge was brought in to dispurse the estate. The property and house are being sold separately but we are purchasing it together. The papers are needed to verify that all parties agree in what is going on per the will.
I have a call into the the judge, but dont know if I will get a return call. This is just so frustrating not being able to do anything or to have any control of a situation.
Casey
Good morning. I know, it's already past noon (or the middle of the night) where some of you live.
1gg, I'm glad you feel better, hope it was one of those 24 hour things that is over and done. Take it easy and keep drinking the water today.
Wallaby, that's a beautiful picture, so many interesting twisty limbs on that tree.
M5, I also have a very old waffle iron. It was old when I got it from my MIL about 40 years ago, makes a round waffle about 7inches in diameter. It has a cloth covered cord and is very well seasoned. My other old one is a Sunbeam, had some smooth grills for frying at one time that were interchangable with the waffle iron grids, but I never used them and they went somewhere. That one makes about 12 inch square waffles and was a wedding present in 1960. We are both antiques.
The sun is out today so I might take the dog for a long walk later when it warms up a bit. Yesterday's weather was wet and windy so I stayed inside most of the day and did a lot of reading.
The cat and the kitten had that unexpected, unsupervised meeting this morning, lots of yowling and a quick physical battle and it was all over, maybe because I came running. After that the older cat walked around puffed up, the kitten growled, but no more fireworks maybe because I was standing right there. I hope that's all there is to it. The name Amanda Panda seems to fit her so that's a definite maybe for a name. I'll have to get a closeup of her face for you. Thanks for the name suggestions, some of them had already been used on other animals of ours. For instance, I have a horse whose registered name is Panda's Eclipse, but we call him Patch. I wanted to name her Panda but adding a first name and saying them together seemed to make sense, to me anyhow.
Gotta go, back later.
Carat- for heavens sakes- can't anyone be trusted to do their job anymore....Get on the horn and throw a fit - good grief you're not buying the white house!!!! (yours is white too isn't it/? LOL)
Julie- thanks for the info that I could delete the extra messages- how embarassing. Just when I was accusing someone else of being a lush. And I only had 1 wine cooler - 6 more to down before the new year! Someone better come help themselves- I obviously can't hold my liquor!
I was in chat for quite sometime this morning- where were the rest of you sleepy heads- I saw Blooms there...
defoe- be thinking about your MIL - hope things go smoothly for her
Just took DGS home. DS was still in bed watching sports (12:30!!) He lives and breathes football/basketball. It would drive me crazy - good thing he has his own house. They have an old old stucco house (4 floors) and are redoing it - I call it the money pit. There's not an ounce of insulation in it and the bricks are laid so that can't put any in. Their heating bills are almost more than we make in a month!
I'll have a waffle or two for lunch - thank you. I made a plate of pizza rolls (getting rid of the junk food) = it's on the counter too.
I was going to take down the xmas tree, but my energy just went poof.
Hi there,
Am at DD's house where the Internet is fast and computers don't curl up their toes when I go exploring. DD#2 and partner have been staying here; so I haven't had to clean out the guest room yet. Not until I need to use it for coats at our party next week. DH, DD#2 and Mark, her partner have taken the grandtwins swimming for awhile. Not long. Then, around 4 we will take Sara and Mark to the airport - weather permitting. We've been having freezing rain much of the day. They have a direct to Vancouver flight; so if they can get off the ground here, they will be fine.
I had a look at DMC's house project. It will keep her busy for awhile. LOL
Re the cold - so far it doesn't feel like it will be a really bad one. And I'm due one. can't remember the last . DSIL apparently has one. He's upstairs, off work this week and I haven't seen him since I've been here. I'm taking vitamins B & C with Zinc and Echinacea.
Vicks vaporub on the bottoms of your feet is something I've not previously heard about. Might try it.
Wallaby - I couldn't access that site either. An "index file" is usually the home page of a web site but i don't know how it relates here.
It's been busy. Tuesday, both daughters, one husband and one partner joined us for dinner without the grandkids. Last night, friends joined us. We used to celebrate both Thanksgiving and Christmas with those friends but as kids have grown up and spread out, it has become more difficult; so usually just the 4 of us try to get together sometime during the holidays. Was at work till 3 pm, but a stop at the grocery store for aluminum foil and broccoli and we were in shape. Had a large salmon filet in the freezer which we baked with dill and lemon slices. A rice pilaf done in the oven with onion, carrots and craisins, broccoli, a cucumber-red onion-red pepper salsa for the fish and a frozen cheesecake, and we were in business. (Tuesday, I stuffed and roasted a couple of pork tenderloins which were totally demolished by 6 people. I was hoping for a few left-overs. LOL )
FC is open tomorrow. last time this year. Then we get working on year-end stats. In 2004 we helped 24,149 people. As of last week, we were just under 24,000 for 2005. Yesterday was 80 something. Tomorrow should be quiet; so the numbers will be VERY close to last year.
I've got extensive instructions for doing the type of data entry which others did at the FC, but not so much for the things I do at the end of each month and at the end of the year; so I need to make notes on those for my successor. He's beginning to get a good picture of how we operate in all shades of grey rather than black and white. How we make rules, but them break them, always with the best interests of the clients at heart. Many of them have fallen through an unbelieveable number of bureaucratic cracks before they get to us.
Guess I've yakked enough. think I'll curl up and do a puzzle till the others get back from swimming.
Ann
Hey guys just skimmed the post... Carat, beat those people!!! LOL
Hope all are feeling better.
Went to the orthopedic surgeon today.... he says that is isn't my shoulder, its my neck!!! So tomorrow I go for cervical spine X Rays and MRI. Yippee. Good news is, I can move my arm LOL Stll hurts but at least I have both arms :)
Got to get ready for my mom to get here, to do Christmas (a little late LOL) and then DH and I are going out tonight... his mom got us tickets to go see WWE Wrestling live tonight LOL I just like to look at the guys :)~~
Here is my favorite http://www.wwe.com/superstars/raw/johncena/ He is gonna be there tonight (drool drool)
Will post tonight if its not too late if not tomorrow... Have a great day all
Hugs
Janis
Hi all,
Didn't make chat this morning - went to the "huff and Puff" and then did some yard work. Now I've collapsed for the day!!
Casey I'm so sorry!!, But its fixable surely?
Wallaby where abouts in Lincolnshire are you? I have friends not far from Boston and we lived in Great Gonerby for a while some years ago. DD lives near Newark still. We on the other hand are now in Texas.
The genealogy thing is great fun and not that difficult. A lot of information is available over the internet in the shape of Census info and the like. Startwith your parents birth certificates and work back. It takes time but its fascinaqting. I have lots of "wrong side of the blanket" and other skeletons in my cupboard!! I am working on DH now and thats even more tangled because he was adopted so I have 2 families to follow.
It keeps me out of mischief when its too hot/cold to be outside in the yard.
Thanks for the kind words on the lampshade - it also keeps me out of mischief, its very slow stuff and my fingers get stabbed a lot so I have to keep stopping to bleed!!
DS gave me a new computer game for Christmas so I'm off to play with that now, so when he asks tomorrow I can tell him I have used it!!
(((((Hugs)))) to all
Carol
The Odd One
Janis - keep us posted on the shoulder - neck problems. Good luck with the x-rays and MRI.
Ann
