San Jacinto County, TX(Zone 8a)

Hey Dave
Sounds wonderful. Love tha area.

The kubota with front end loader is a keeper for sure and there's no doubt the need with your new acreage.

For the non Texicans that arn't sure where your area is located this can help:
http://www.epodunk.com/cgi-bin/genInfo.php?locIndex=44.
Its set on Texas search but works on all states.

Happy days, You and Yours

Anyone ever heard about the "Paper People"?

If you havent I suggest you scroll down and find it - it's great. Hmmmmmm.....

San Antonio, TX(Zone 8b)

I will miss having you guys so close to me here in San Antonio. :o( San Antonio's loss is College Station's gain. It must be so difficult to leave plants behind when you move. I am sure that you will enjoy putting in nrw gardens and landscaping and your new home, with all of the acreage, will be great for your children. I wish you many blessings and joyful days at your new home.

I had the paper people last and the last post of them never even made it - before the thread was pulled

Crossville, TN(Zone 6b)

why was it pulled? Linda

sung like " I dreaming of a white x-mas"

I'm dreaming of thirty-seven acres
Just like the land DG now owns
I could grow so much there
and ideas I could share there
if I only had thirty-seven acres of my own

Dave and Trish...

You are becoming like Lemmings...having to move!!! I'm like that. You will love your Kubota!!! We have one and "tractoring" is an active verb in our house.

If you hanker for any hoyas, give me a shout and I will send you a box of cuttings!!!

Lack of posts to the thread was the reason for pulling it. So was said. Here's a picture of them at the RU at Candee's in Maryland.

Until this thread I'd never heard of College Station, TX.
As we pulled into the store today a live song by Robert Earl Keen was playing.
It's called 'Bluegrass Widow'.
In it he mentions being from College Station and playing in his band the
'Front Porch Boys'.
Evidently a really not good Bluegrass band.
Small world eh?

not all bands are good, lol! Not all Karaoke singers that "think" they can carry a tune, can carry a tune.

Aurora, TX(Zone 8a)

Bryan, College Station is a neat place. My girlfriend grew up there, and her mother, our gardening friend, lives there. The best Lady in Bryan cracks us up, shopping for plants, then going home to her acreage to uproot whatever's lost it's lustre in order to plant in its spot........;-)

Happy New Home in 2006 to you, Mr. & Mrs. Garden.
