Chat 911!!!

Trust this crew to find a way to "chat" even with the chat room broken!

My dad got a good deal on firewood (mostly cherry, too), so he let us fill the back of the CR-V when we were in Pittsburgh last weekend. I moved about 1/4 cord of wood from last year up onto the deck late this afternoon, then unloaded about 1/3 cord from the car and stacked it below the deck. I finished just before full dark, and just before it started to rain! Needless to say, I am looking forward to a hot soak -- with bubbles!

So I didn't get any planting done today.... but I had to get the wood out of the car to make room for mulch! :-)

Well, here too thought I was only one in chat 2 nite,,,,was feelin' like an orphan,,,LOL

I remember the last time the chat room broke... Dave finally fixed it, and then he left the "Chat room is OPEN" link up on the home page all the way through Thursday morning chat.... I kept checking in from time to time, but I hear some folks made a marathon session of it!

I think we should have chat every night or at least every other night, for us chatty groupies....

Gee, I was contemplating a visit to the Chat Room myself and it was like walking into an empty room... or trying the door and it was locked! I thought I'd goofed in someway and tried logging off... only I logged off the DG website for the first time in about 2 or three years! LOL! Good thing I remembered the password!

No kids at my house, but I spent the day paying bills and reconsiling my accounts, so I felt I had earned a little visit to the chat room... sigh! Guess I could go do the dishes, or work on my virtual jigsaw puzzle... or add data to the Plantfiles... or cut up the halibut fillet for dinner... or go get a soda... or work on my seed trade files... or zzzzzzzzzzzzz.....

I think it is my hint that I should go somewhere and pass out! LOL The kids are helping me with laundry. We still have kitchen stuff to unpack, laundry to do, clothes to put away, still need to have the landline connected, etc, etc, etc. I think I am going to put my feet up and call it a night! Catch y'all next week. :)

I can't remember the last time I woke up 'raring the go'. I feel fortunate if I can find my slippers and shuffle downstairs without gripping the banister! LOL! Ah, well, that's why they have you young gals raise the kids.

You guys make me feel old - my "babies" are DD 29 and DS 26 with a wife no less!! Both have big dogs that they bring to visit. No wonder I am very fond of wine.

Oh I have a 5 year old and no one is fonder of wine then I am LOL

No Chat, How can I live without the gossip you gals come up with ?

I have to admit the chat room is much faster. I like the submissions all coming in together at times. Makes it interesting to try to decipher who is responding to who.
