As a baseball fan, to me, the obvious name is Turner Field. (For those who have no idea what I am talking about http://atlanta.braves.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/atl/ballpark/index.jsp)

I always said that if I had a vineyard/winery, I would call it Moot Point. I know that has nothing to do with any of the data you provided, but if you like it, you're free to use it. I'll never have a vineyard/winery for many reason, not the least of which is that I don't drink. So why did I even come up with a name for one? I don't know. It's just one of those random thoughts that we all get. I assume we all get them. ;-)

Blandinsville, IL(Zone 5a)

Your new place is just fantastic, what about "Meyers Perennial Plantation"

I visulize two nice posts made out of brick, or something matching the decor of your house to hold the sign and you might add specilizing in daylily, ornamental grasses, etc.etc.etc.

I had to take a shot at it, afterall, my newest addiction is daylilies.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Should I start another thread as requested or just stop taking suggestions?

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

Badseed ..

The length of the thread imposes no problem (for me) .. loads real well.

I was merely concerned that some with 'dial up' may be incurring some lengthy loads & waits ...

- Magpye

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

No problem Magpye. I just wondered if anyone still wanted to play or if everyone is exhausted. LOL

NW Qtr, AR(Zone 6a)

I don't have dial up, but since their aren't any pictures here, it should load ok.

Badseed, I've been giving this a lot of thought. Yep, even while I am at work I have been thinking of your farm lol. I agree with others here about simplicity. In my humble opinion, you should pick a one word name, or if you like one of the catchy ones, make it 'Michele's Petal Pushers' because people will call it Michele's, or Turner's, or Meyer's or whatever that first word is. The local nurseries I go to are Reynolds, Meyers', Joe's, Arcadia, and Sedge Garden. I also go to two that I can't remember the name of, I call them 'the one with the turquoise fence' and 'the one near where Piece Goods used to be' LOL They have cutesy names and I never remember them.

Another idea is to use some of these ideas for specials, or print ads, etc. Like a 'Big Bloomers' sale with the line and bloomers out. Or a 'Petal Pushers' sale for your annuals. Wasn't tgif your idea on another thread? That could be a standing Friday thing, or the last Friday of the month or whatever you decide.

Ok, I am probably being too intrusive, just wanted to give my 2 cents (and a few extras)

Good luck, I can't wait to see what you decide!

Well, I can't remember all these fine suggestions ... and don't have the patience to read them all again. I know I suggested Blooms 'N Things at one time but don't even know if that had already been taken. But here's a different take on the same idea. With all these great suggestions, it's probably already been said, though, so if I'm stepping on toes ... please excuse me. Certainly don't mean to.
Drop the "S" and just make it
"Bloomin Things"

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

"Butterfly Gardens"
:Hummingbird Haven"
"Lasting Memories"
"New Beginings"
"Making Memories"

When I would get really depressed and could get out of the house.
or right after seing the therapist I use to go to a nursery in town and look around. Mr Donath was so nice to me when I told him and he said anytime. That way I didn't feel awkward not buying anything every week. I felt so at home. Which just me think of how I felt there and here on DG.

"Friends and Family"

I also loved going to Mr Hesters as it was set in a wooded setting. You could walk back trails and there was a little bridge with a small stream. Any every so often a bench just to sit and enjoy. You could even pack a lunch and have a picnic. It was awesome. That is where I was introduced to Brugmansias. He took so much time just to tlk with us. A truely awesome experience.

Just like your place will be my sweet Michelle.

Blessings,
Sandy ^8^

Earth Angel or EarthAngel's is still my fav.

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

Auntie M's is still mine, followed by the Meyer's theme, the Earth Angel theme, and then the Bloomin' theme...

all i can say, is I am glad i am not Chelle. all that work, and then have to pick a nmae from this list!!! LOL

:-)
tf

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

It's an easy pick, Auntie M's.
Short & sweet, everybody will remember it. Nobody cares about how many kids you have, (what happens when the kids are gone ?), how long your clothesline is for bloomers or any of that cute stuff. Think of the customer writing a check, short & sweet. They can even just write A M. Our customers can spell C G, they have lots of trouble with our last name, (13 letters.)
Another thing to think about is advertizing. Print ads count the words, you pay by the word. Radio, you want simple. Can't be taking up all the room with long name.
Hope this helps you to decide.
