Thought you all would have a lot of interesting ideas and much input in regard to building a potting shed, such as type of windows, door, and any and all necessities that might be needed such as including a sink, type of lighting in the interior, lighting from the roof, etc. Will try and keep the cost down so any money saving ideas would be appreciated as well. It will be a small metallic building, so will need ideas on how to attach gardening tools, etc. on the inside. It will also have a four foot porch. I know you all have brilliant ideas, so any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million.

Building garden/potting shed
Carol,
First of all - have you checked out kits? There a lots of places on the web to buy kits to build rather than doing it from scratch. I've priced many of them - and it's just about the same either way you go. Here's a couple of my favorite sites.
http://www.summerwood.com/sheds.jsp
http://www.cabanavillage.com/sheds/
http://www.spiritelements.com/SubCatList.Aspx?c=1016
(Spirit Elements is my absolute favorite!)
Also - do a google on potting shed plans..you'll get alot of returns
Good luck!
Marcia
Hi Marcia,
Just made a reply and the puter went bleep, so you may get this twice. Thanks for the sites as I really appreciate it. I already have some material. I figure it will cost me a little over a $1,000 and with hubby and brother building it, there should be no labor cost. (Who knows -- they may charge me more. (lol)
You live in a beautiful state. Have a sister in Gatlinburg.
Thanks again for your time and help.
Carol
