New Header Image!

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

Oh the suspense, tapping fingers on the LT.
We wait.
;)

I originally voted for #3, but since changed my vote in order to tip the scales. :)

I'm thinking maybe we'll switch to #3 later on.

Yeah! Dave the new header looks gorgeous!

Thanks!

Yeah, I love it, too. It certainly pops off the page and looks MUCH better than when it was a standalone image.

Paul and (I'm not sure who photographed this. Please let me know) - well done! Thanks and congratulations.

Dave

Central, KY(Zone 6b)

Wow, that looks great..Thanks!!!

(Zone 7b)

Excellent. Gives a touch of sophistication, don't you think?

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

I think the photographer was TuttiFrutti.....who just went *THUD*. ;-)

Well done TuttiFrutti!

Sure enough!!

Thank you very much! All of the submissions were fabulous, and Paul did a great job of organizing and presenting them so we could ooh and ahh over each and every one. :)

Grinning so big now my face hurts,
Donna

P.S. I was lurking over in the Seed Snatchin' thread and had just clicked on the thumbnail pic of TGIF's kit when the banner changed. Talk about a surprise! Which reminds me... I need to get back to organizing my own kit and clearing the counter tops of cups and bags of drying seeds. ;)

(Zone 7b)

that's a gorgeous picture, tf!

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Yippeee....I just love it...good job all ya'll!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Looks beautiful, Donna! :)

Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)

looks beautiful of course how could it not with those great colors but will also look forward to seeing #3 sometime still love it!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

It's gorgeous! Great job, Donna!! Thanks, Paul and Dave!!! It's a good thing we don't have to pay royalty fees to use exclamation points!!!! LOL

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

Like #3 but #19 are best prefer that one.
Thanks!

Culpeper, VA(Zone 7a)

Have to say that while all the submissions were gorgeous, I do really like the final choice. Nothing says Fall like nice mums!!!

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

From the start I felt #3 had a certain reverance about it, like a sanctuary. Guess you know where I'm going with this.
Sidney

Northwest, MO(Zone 5a)

Wow!!! Love the new header. Deb

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

Wow. I like them both. The mums make me feel like it's time to get down to business and start talking about my flowers. The other picture makes me want to put on music and jump into the picture and forget about whatever I was gonna say. Gorgeous picture but for me, too distracting.

Culpeper, VA(Zone 7a)

It makes me think of how my mums are crying out to me to PLEASE pull out the weeds from around them now that the rain has finally stopped - lol!!!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Wow...it really does jump out at ya.

Great pic, Tutti! That banner is a keeper!

I think this will be a great "Seasonal Happening"...the "Changing of the Banner"!

Shoe.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I think it looks beautiful up there. I absolutely love it!

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow, that is just gorgeous up there!!!

Congratulations, Donna!

Eureka, CA

Both are absolutely great.... but #19 feels more fall-ish. Or at least more "traditionally" fall-ish. Hard choice!

Southern, United States

It looks so nice! Thanks Paul for the hard work and thanks TuttiFruitti for the great picture!

Minneapolis, MN(Zone 5a)

Yes, absolutely beautiful. I would have voted for header/picture 19, too!
Mike

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Would it not have been simpler and more effective to put this in the Voting Booth?

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Ummmm, no. (I thought about it, too - but there isn't any way to imbed images in the voting booth, so people would have had to flip back and forth between a thread and the poll box ;o)

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Good point.

SF Bay Area, CA(Zone 9b)

I vote for #19.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

I loved them both and couldn't decide which to vote for but now that it is up there full size I absolutely LOVE it.

Thanks to Paul for doing this delightful semi contest and congrats to all who turned in their photos. They were all wonderful.

Congrats to Tuttifrutti for your wonderful flower photo. They are amazing!!!!!! Now can I have a piece of it ? LOL *wink* *wink* ;o)

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

I love the new banner. I didnt see the voting thread, but never mind, my favorite one won....
tuttifruiti, great picture!

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

Noticed it today and the people have made a worthy selection for a header. I'd personally like this to be changed to a new one every month, if that is acceptable.
Dinu

Clay Center, KS(Zone 5b)

Great new banner. Lot's of great photos, enjoyed seeing them all.

Oak Grove, MN(Zone 4a)

Can we have #3 for the Trees and Shrubs forum? It would look great there. I love the mums for fall.

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

# would look great for Prayer forum too. God's sanctuary.
