Well I was a bit shocked at first. There were men running around in womens underclothes and women wearing mens suits. It was something about cross dressing is in.....

Oklahoma City, OK

ohhhh...wellamercifulheavens!!!...thats no where near what i saw, but gosh its been several yrs ago. [don't suppose they were 'blu' undies huh?]

Vegas,NV Filbert, SC(Zone 7b)

ummm, well actually yeah, one of the ahh, outfits, for lack of a better word was blu. I think he needed a boob job and a good brazilian wax job, though.

Oklahoma City, OK

LOL!!!!...dont watch that no more! bound to be a residual effect. you gonna be runnin'thru garden in ur 'blu'z'

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

And even that very discreet tidbit was WAY more than I wanted to know! LOLOL (Although it was very nicely worded, Carat, so as to not be offensive. Well done! (still giggling...)) I don't understand why anyone goes on those shows, either, and I sure don't understand why anyone watches them!

I have a stomach flu which is making me very blu and you all are keeping me smiling. Thank you! MG, I hope you feel better soon. I can't stand being on pain meds.. Ugh. They don't make me happy, they make me foggy and I don't like it at all.

Both of the girls are taking naps... I think I will, too. I'll be back to laugh with you all later!

So sorry to hear about everyone getting this yucky stuff so early in the season. My family usually waits until January to start the cruds and then it lingers back and forth until March.

Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)

Carat stay away from Jerry Springer!!!!! That man is dangerous to one's mind!
If that is the show you saw just remember this warning--- THAT WAS TAME for his show!!
IT is so awful and stupid and will not make you "blu" It will make you sick--- I have not seen him in a long time but have caught snipits that make the show you describe seem like normal !!!
stay away!!!

Oh trois! Thank you so very much for making my day! Those beautiful blue eyes make a gorgeous picture!

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

I have made a poster of that one, 20 x 30. It was a cat we had in Bermuda.
He would have been 50 years old now.

Kernersville, NC(Zone 7a)

That is a beautiful cat Trois! What was his name?

Vegas,NV Filbert, SC(Zone 7b)

Oh now that is Tru Blu. How dramatic that poster must be.

Thanks

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

His name was Dum Dum. I didn't do it. He had a habit of running off with forks instead of food.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

You know, the picture itself must be decades old. It's amazing you could have gotten so clear and close with an older camera. So, you've been a photographer for a long time, huh?

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

I took the picture with a Canon FTQL, using a 50 MM macro lense. The camera worked until about last August. The lense is still in great shape. I guess I won't get it fixed because film has become so unusable, made only for skin tones or what ever. Nothing at all as good as Kodachrome II. The slides I took then are as sharp today as when new. The other brands of film I tried faded long ago.

This was my first quality camera. I started when we lived in Bermuda as there were many great subjects, started a club of fellow workers, and made lifelong friends. We spent most of the 60s in Bermuda.

You must have albums full of beautiful photos. Next time you're in my area (Niagara Falls?) bring your photos with you, stop in and let me give you lots of compliments!

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

Actually, they are all in the computer and on DVDs. I have a few large prints, and a lot of negatives, with proofs.

A search for jpg shows more than 26,000. Some of those are duplicated. Still a lot of hours to view. Too many.

The next time I am in your area will be the first time. That is one of the few parts of the US I haven't been.

What to do with so many "blu"tiful pictures! It's nice to have them saved, but no one sees them. Publish them? Sell prints? Twenty six thousand. And counting.

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

I don't know what to do with them, or why I keep taking. I have a second hard drive full for backup, and my children have said they want them when I croak. I am sure it isn't a unique situation.

Taking is the fun. I need to take more trips!

Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)

Oh Trois you should go to snapfish.com or shutterfly.com and download the ones you wish to print.
they both have specials all the time for prints and you can get some great deals. Also it is a way to have them saved for you on their site.
I too have so many pictures on my computer it is amazing how they add up. Another thing is to get a few jump drives or a CD burner and put them on that -- a great way to save them and label for easy access!! As well as give them to your children now for more people to enjoy them.
Hope any of that is helpful.
Have a great day!

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

I print my own, and do burn them. Just sorting for different themes takes a lot of time, but then I am retired and it gives me something to do..

Thanks for your suggestions. I have been looking into those sites a bit already.

trois

Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)

Oh I figred after I typed it you surely would have done some if not all of those since you have so many pictures. I too have a hard time catalogueing mine and it gets so overwhelming that I just leave them for another day.
What kind of burner do you have I need one but know very little about what kind - how much they cost- and how easy they are to use!

Santa Fe, TX(Zone 9b)

It's a Liteon from Wally World. I have only used it a couple of times. I have to break up some of my files into smaller groups, as it will only do a little over 4 gig per side. This will burn both sides of the double sided ones, but I haven't used this feature yet.
