Problem with Chat room

That's right, Paul.

Jorge and I worked for a couple hours last night on the chat and it's working pretty well so far (no private messaging yet, though).

Getting it hooked into the DG system is the challenge but we're almost there.

Thanks, I liked the extra hours myself. Many days I miss it on the regular Tuesday and Thursday times.

Thanks for the chat time yesterday Dave. I had to reinstall Java and then it worked great.

Could we have more extra times Dave? It was SOOOOO much fun - especially now with winter approaching us, we'll be stuck inside. Pretty please with flowers on top??? Could we bribe you with something???

I don't think I can take another marathon chat, lol. My poor butt. But it sure WAS fun!! Ok, maybe a little too much fun a few times, but I'll work on that!

I got to talk to so many people in so many places! I think I actually chatted myself around the world. Sweden, France, New Zealand, Canada and back to the USA.

Dave, I cannot thank you enough for this wonderful site. I've scrawled davesgarden.com on a ton of scrap pieces of paper, a plant tag at a nursery, and even a grocery bag at the store. I hope word of mouth works, 'cuz I've certainly got the mouth for it.

I should tell you however, my dh is not as pleased. I think he is considering asking you for alimony and child support. I keep hearing "Are you at Dave's again?"

Chat hours are:

Tuesday nite: 7-10
Thursday morning: 7-10

These times are eastern times.

When you sign on and click on the "Home" tab above, if the chat room is open, it will show on the right side of the screen above the "Voting Booth". You simply click on the chat face and it will take you there.

I see that this is an older message, but I can't seem to find the chat room here. I used to belong to the GE garden chat room for years, and really miss it. Is anyone in here from there? If so, I'd love to catch up with you!!!

When the chatroom is open, an icon on the homepage serves as a link to the chatroom itself. Click on it, and you'll be taken to the chatroom.

NOTE: You must have the proper Java applets installed to participate in the chatroom. If you click on the link and cannot see the black screen with white text, you'll need to check your settings and/or install the appropriate software. Please let us know if you need assistance.
