Just want to share my success story--and ask for any other easy solutions...
I've had a continuing problem with moose eating my trees and shrubs, especially in the winter. Every year! For years!
I also routinely have moose eating my garden in the summer. This year, after the moose came through twice (and ate 3/4 of the garden), I followed my brother's advice and got some garlic clips. The third time they came through, they didn't eat anything. I didn't see what happened--I only saw the tracks after they were gone--but so far, so good. My brother did tell me that the garlic clips make the moose mad, so if you try them--be prepared.
If anyone has any other ideas of what to do with the moose (other than making them into steaks and roasts), I would love to hear them. Unfortunately, fencing the garden is not an option at this time.
