Molly, I'm in the same boat...so I figure that if I can do 2-3 per visit here at DG, it will get done. hehe

What other kinds of folders did ya'll make to organize your mail in? Just curious....

Oh my goodness Dave ... you have done it now. I am loving this! I use folders all the time in my email.
Good job! Thank you sooooo very very much!
Horseshoe, I made one for plant purchases so I could go back and see which ones I have made ... and also made ones for the people I write on a routine basis. Will make one for trades in the making, also. These were just some ideas I had. Maybe others have things that made sense to them according to their own personal needs. ... Elaine

I love the idea. After sending out Roundup emails my D-mail was getting really big & hard to manage. I made a folder called ROUNDUP and started copying them into it, but after the first page, it said I was done, no mail found and 20 emails found in other folders. But I had 10 or more pages! I did a search for a friend that I had emails from that were not roundup related & they show up on a search, but not in my inbox. Any suggestions?

It lokos like trehe was a bug in the mail prorgam. I wkoerd on it and it slhoud be wriknog fine now. Wulod you pelsae check aiagn?

I was gonna ask about that but then decided he may have been taking cough medicine...LOL (Kind of scary that I had no problem understanding it, huh?)

Wow, I use a talking computer ... you should hear that post read out loud! LOL Too funny! Hmmm, I could understand it, too!

Yup Dave,

A while back my sis sent me something of the same thing and I posted it somewhere.

Key thing is the beginning and the ending of the word that the brain registers and you can recognize the words.

This would not work for young children learning to read of course.

:^)))

Or, on most DG names!

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

In fact, my brain did the switcheroo so automatically I didn't notice all the scrambled words till I got to the 'pls chck again' cuz please and chck are spelled pls and chck at work and our computers automatically correct them. lol

(Zone 5b)

it took me awhile to figure out a couple of those words. Anybody know how to get rid of hiccoughs?

Conroe, TX(Zone 9a)

hang upside down and eat three loaves of moose-moss bread.

Love this feature! That ole brain always amazes me as does Dave's sense of humor.

PudgyMudpies - I think the problem is fixed - please have a look!

Stockton, CA(Zone 9a)

Their baaaaaack. Thanks Dave.

Happily!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Soooo....any ideas on when mass moves will be possible?

(ducking for cover....)

It's still on the TODO! I was planning on doing that this morning. I have 47 more minutes to make that goal. :-)

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I'll sit down and be quiet so you can meet your own deadline, then ;o)

Yeah, while I'm typing these posts I could be getting profitable work done.

Twiddles fingers...

Sighs and looks at the wall.

Okay, the feature is complete!

Hip-Hip--- HOORRAAYY!!!

Are you serious? Oh, you're wonderful! Thanks, Dave! ... Elaine

Okay, just call me a pest ... but had to come back and post again. Dave, you're the greatest. I've gotten all my stuff moved over. That's just really really wonderful! Thanks, again, so much! ... Elaine

You are very welcome. :)

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Yeahhhhh! My inbox of ~2500 emails is now neatly organized into 9 folders. And I found a few emails I need to take care of - they were buried beneath the daily onslaught ;o)

Cool!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Yep - I'm very very happy - and very very grateful! Thanks a bunch!

Conroe, TX(Zone 9a)

Aaaaahhhhh! Much more better!

Thanks again, Dave!

I'm happy to, by the way. Now my 18 pages in my inbox is down to around 7 pages. :)

Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)

Woo Hoo! Let's all send Dave and Terry congratulatory DG-mails to help them celebrate the organization of their inboxes... lol... I'll even start the checkin thread...

NOT!!!!!

Another round of thanks here; it's great to be able to easily manage my inbox. :)

Is there a way to DELETE the messages? I can't seem to find one if there is. Please help. Thank you.

Dublin, CA(Zone 9a)

When you're in the message, you'll see an option called "delete this" in the line at the top of the message. This moves the message to a special delete folder, but you can't actually really delete the message. Basically the message is a discussion thread between you and whoever you were corresponding with, and deleting it from your mail would also delete it from theirs, and they may not want that. So Dave created the delete this feature so that you could at least get messages out of your inbox and not have to look at them if you don't want to.
