Ok, one more post re: Thread #10

Sylvia and Laurrie,
Don't you just love that 'Lavender Mist'.
I am so thrilled that it is remaining 'TRUE'.
Glad yours opened finally, Sylvia. I was starting to wonder about that.
Thanks for sharing the photos.

Susan,
Your last 'Asuka Not' is gorgeous!

Janis,
This is amazing!

Emma, I'm referring back to the #10 thread so we don't keep posting there. My blooms are more purple than any of the ones posted an the Hatsu Arashi page in PF. HMMMMMMMMM Unless its just camera difference. Wierd. Its beautiful what ever it is LOL Thanks tho, maybe somone will post one that looks closer.

This one by willowwasp is the closest I think.. but mine is still more purple.

Ok, I'm doing too many things at once I'll see you all in the AM

Janis

My latest vine from You Know Who on eBay is such a disappointment. It was sold as a Mount Fuji purple but turns out to be an Akatsuki no Umi look alike, except the leaves are much different. It's a nice flower but not what I had wanted. As long as there is breath in this luke warm body will I never ever buy seeds from this person again.

Got up this morn, and snapped these candy colors, never really capturing the depth of red of Dainagon

Emma, I really like the 'Koukan' . Is it a bright red?

Gail, those two look wonderful together. I really love the color of Dainagon.

Sorry you were disappointed in your seeds this year Joseph. I was too and think mine came form the same seller. At least since I didn't have any to begins with, I like everything that I did get to grow (which was a very low percentage), but would have like them a lot better if they had been what I thought I was getting. Do you sell on eBay? I got some from a Joseph last week. Think I got some from your too maybe Emma.

Janis, keep the photos coming! You have such anice variety.

Here is my blue Purple Shibouri NOT, also from eBay. Both these seem to have a little extra flap of blue coming from the center.

Susan,
My 'Koukan' is probably the closest that I've gotten to a 'Red' -
I still have to say that it has a very deep dark Pink hue -
I've yet to see a 'Real True Red' JMG - which is big-time on my Want List. 'Koukan' is truly gorgeous!

Anyone know what this one might be?

Heian No Kaori looks almost pearlescent! Beautiful. I thought maybe my NOT Purple Shibori was Akathoukinoumi, but it also looks somewhat like the Suigetsu posted above. What do you think Emmagrace? Are our two NOT's the same one? LOL! When I die, someone is going to have fun sorting out all my plants. I have many daylilies with names like Fog and Fire NOT and now I'm collecting NOT JMG.

Susan

Susan,
Yes 'Heian No Kaori' is very much pearlescent.
This is from my seeds from last year and all of the blooms have this appearance.
I too thought maybe the 'Shibori Purple NOT' might be 'Suigetsu', but I don't think so. 'Suigetsu' has a larger White throat. I'm growing this one also, but haven't had a decent bloom yet that was photogentic.

Here is another from my 'Plum Frost' seeds.
This one is also has a Sparkling Luster.
Color is Lilac. The entire vine is blooming this way too.
