I found this today on my baby tears, it's size is about 1 cm, and is only on that plant. I hope!!! Also, what I don't understand is how it got here because I live on the second floor and my containers are on the balcony. These are the best pictures I could get. Should I let it be or should I get rid of it.

It's a SLUG! Kill it, quick!! LOL. Flick that little critter right off the balcony. He'll munch leaves like you wouldn't believe. If he's not an isolated specimen, you may have to take additional measures, but I'm guessing you could just hand pick them from container plants.
