Oh those are stunning!!!! I love the color!!

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

A lovely pink color and long tendrils too!

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

WOW!! The colors are gorgeous. Congratulations! The plant itself looks so healthy. What do you do to keep it that way? Has it been bothered by insects or mites?

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

This one is in a new bed that was created this spring. No brugs were there last year, so far no mite problem (knock on wood). They are under the edge of a huge oak tree and get very little direct sun. They get little splashes here and there as the sun crosses the sky. This area, I have used granular 10-10-10 mixed with pelleted lime. I put a scoop around the edge of each plant about every 4-6 weeks and scratch it in a little. They are on a watering system that gives them 1 hr every morning (I have to deactivate the timer when we're getting rain every day.) There are other seedlings there as well that I'm waiting on.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gosh Linda, I want to come live in that bed too. What a Mom you are!!

I wonder what is making that brug adveritise so much? I can never figure out why mine get so recurved when they do. And then next flush they may not be. Such a pretty one!!

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Linda, sounds like the new brug bed you've made and the place you put it, they will LOVE it by the looks of your beauty posted. I think she is gorgeous and I love the color as well! The recurve is out of this world outstanding....I think you have a keeper! Seems like each year after they just keep getting better. I can't imagine the next flush not being better looking than the first!!! Congrats to you!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Thanks Julie, this is the second blooming of this seedling which was started Dec '04.

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

You're most welcome Linda :-) Now don't forget me when you start chopping come Fall lol!

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Breath taking! Very very pretty.

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Worth waiting for huh?!!!! YES!

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

OK so what's the verdict today??? Is she hangin' in there Linda? When's the next flush, soon I hope :-)

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Flowers are holding up nicely, I'll take more photos this afternoon.

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Ohhhhhhh goodie Linda! I'll be waiting with my Lemonade in hand watching my monitor :-))

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Linda this Brug is Awsome, if there are seeds I hope I am lucky lol

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Doris, please cross your digits for me, I have at least a half a dozen of the same cross and the first should bloom within the next two weeks, I am so excited!!!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Oooooh Sherry, I'll be watching for yours too now. This is exciting!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

I have several more seedlings that have not yet bloomed too.

Seeds for this one came from Kell last December.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I hope you get more outstanding beauts like this, Linda. I find it so interesting to watch how the seeds from the same cross, even the same pod have similarities and differences, and take on such unique forms of beauty.
Excellent!....I want to see them bloom too (I'm greedy now, I know...LOL)

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Linda & Sherry, I just checked my seedlings out under the shade tree and found I had 3 of Kell's L'Amour X EP !!!!!!! Well, the good new's is, if I really try hard, I may get two of them to grow enough to Y this year but the 3rd one is very little yet. I got a slow start and I'm regretting it now :-(

But until then, I will enjoy all of yours!!!! Gives me something to look forward to. I have Sept & October, maybe some of November to get them pumped up for some action for me!

I was really excited to find that...I thought that cross looked familiar but wasn't sure. :-))))

After 4 days, the first bloom has expired, newer blooms still look good.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Linda, IMO, in this heat, 4 days is fantastic!! If mine do 1/2 as well, I'll be passed thrilled. I didn't look at mine closest to blooming, you know the deal, watched pot never boils!! Susanne had the best blooming record here (staying power) here, but it wasn't as hot. PF holds the record, here, for the most continuous blooms, started 06/23, and is still going, stray blooms now, but a nice flush is just days away...

It's a club, Julie!!! So nice to know you have seedlings too, I cannot wait to see yours. Do your leaves look like Linda's??

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

YESSSSSSSSss we are a club! Couldn't have been in one with two nicer ladies :-)

lolol I don't know about the leaves but..., I'll go out and look in the morning when I fertilize them which is what I'm doing each and every morning LOL....I can tell you right now, they aren't as big as Linda's yet because I didn't get a good start until later. I'll put them together tomorrow and look at the leaves. I will say I do remember thinking when I saw the three of them that they were growing faster than some of the rest. So maybe I'll have something this year....*crossing fingers*

Hugs
Julie

Ellicott City, MD(Zone 7a)

What a beautiful pink! Love the new blooms too!!

Dundee, OH(Zone 5b)

I can't wait for mine, might be awhile LOL but I am soo excited to be growing this one as well!!! 3 plants there. My seeds were started on 4-28-05 :)

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Holy cow....now I gotta watch Jules and Ohio's babies too? lol
This is really neat!

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

The really neat thing is that they will all be different. I can't wait to see what else I get out of this mix.

SE Arky, United States(Zone 8a)

Attached is L'Amour x EP, seed (thanks, Kell!!) planted 2/22/05, with buds, photo taken yesterday or the day before. If all goes well, she should bloom within a week or so. Does she resemble yours, Linda & Breezy??? (I dated the pic 2006, ooops)
