Slug and epimedium

I have about 20 epimedium in my shady garden. They are different varieties. There are a few that has slug problem. I have been go out to catch them at night for a month. It really helps. What puzzled me is that I got the information on the web that epimedium is supposed to be slug resistant. Anyone have the same problem?

PS: the slug also likes Jacob's ladder too.
