They just unloaded some wonderful crape myrtles at my Wal-mart...$5.00 for a big 2 gallon pot..and they're about 2 1/2' tall.
I even got a named cultivar...'Queen's Lace'. Most are generic pinks, reds and whites...but a few named ones snuck in...and these were fresh...hadn't been stressed at all. Usually plants at stores like this get watered when they wilt, and end up looking pretty grim by the time they've been there a couple of weeks....I like to get mine right off the truck.
Check your local Wally World...get 'em early before they get stressed!

Sound good but I think I already have too many.. I went and saw pink cm any places.. I just get out and bring my tool to cut and bring some pieces home so I can root it.. LOL..

We don't get crepe myrtles at our Wal Mart. We do have a few hydrangeas for five dollars.
You are so lucky. I have wanted to try them sometime.
