I'm having a problem with my echinacea, ascelpias and centauria. The plants are two years old, rather large blooming profusely and all in all look quite healthy. Last week, the leaves and flowers of one entire stalk wilted and this has been going on each day, one stalk at a time while the rest of the plant is unaffected. There are no breaks in the stalk, I find no holes to suggest a borer, and I see no type of fungal evidence. Has anyone experience with this and what is the cause and cure?
Any help will be appreciated!
Michael
