I have two groundhogs that are eating my green bean plants. I don't want to kill them just deter them from eating them. Is there a spray that I can use that has hot pepper taste that might make them stop eating them. I have tried live traps but they wont go in. To smart I guess, or they like my beans better.
What are your suggestions.

groundhog problem
Did you try baiting the trap with apples? They love them.

Yep, they are two of the smartist groundhogs that I have come across. I read somewhere that if I use 2T dish detergent and a half bottle of hot sauce to a watering can of h2o that this would deter them. I will try this before I get the gun.LOL
So I got the hottest hot sauce that I can find which is called devil tongue, if you put 1 drop of this sauce on a cracker and eat it, it will bring you to tears.
