UPDATE!!! SEPT 7th~
I was going to wait until tomorrow evening to post the location, but I have heard from pretty much all of you and you are all in agreement that having it at my house is fine. So I am officially changing the location to my house. I will email each of you individually with my address & a map.
It will start at 10am (if you get here early thats fine too) and I ask that you bring your own lawn chair. I do have a few extras so if you don't have one, I should be able to cover you, but if you have one, bring it. Also, if you want cuttings of anything I have, you are welcome to it (within reason, lol) just bring something to put them in. I also have some abutilon seedlings that you can pluck out, so bring some potting medium if you are interested.
If you have not already gone to Kachinagirls link below, do so. It outlines the food situation.
I plan on having a blast and I hope you do too!
THERE IS A FOOD LIST STARTED BY KACHINAGIRL:
http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/528638/
AND A TRADE LIST STARTED BY RACHAELBEE:

NORTHERN CA Stockton Roundup Sept. 10
i vote for micke park i dont mind the $5 and i would love to see the koi ponds and im sure the kids will enjoy the rides
I'd like Mikey Grove; haven't been there in years, would love to go back. Thank you!
**Jo
I will put this on my calendar and cross my fingers that I can go. I usually work on the weekends, but will see what I can work out.
Sounds like fun!
I vote to go further north!
Sounds great! I haven't been to either place (or to a roundup yet). I vote for whichever place has the most shade. :)
Thanks for the heads up.
Sandy
You might want to consider the park at Hammer Lane and I-5 on the northeast side of Stockton. It has a small lake and lots of shade. I believe there is a small parking fee. Where ever it is I am interested. When a date is set I will be able to see if I can make it.

Okay, I know this is a long shot, but I really want to meet all of you and I don't have a car. If anyone is coming to this roundup from Sonoma County or points north and can give me a ride, I will pay for all the gas and bridge tolls.
Oh darn, -- this state is just TOO big! Pudg let me know ab. these plans, but it's just too far from Orange County! Y'all have fun, now!
~'spin!~
Ok, it's in my datebook. I vote for Mickey Grove also, but will come not matter what! LOL
K
Donna, thank you, thank you for letting me know about this one. It is on my calender. Oh, praying I can make it!!
I will put it on my calendur and hope that I will be able to come. Either place is fine with me.
Patricia
I need to add my thanks for getting this going, dear Pudgy!!
Donna, count me and my DH in. If the group decides on Micke Park (which sounds really nice), I'll probably bring my little ones, too. I have a 1-yr old girl and a 3 1/2-yr old boy. Anyone else bringing little kids? My son would love others to play with!
Hi all, just a note to let remind you there are 2 Roundups happening in Sept!!! The one in N. Cal, Castro Valley, Cull Canyon on Sept 24th, and this one on Sept 10th, so I hope no one is confused, I'm going to come to Fresno as well as organizing the one in N. Cal, LOL,
I would'nt worry about shade, I'm sure there will be plenty!!
My best,
Annie

??? Did the Castro Valley round up get changed to the 17th from the 24th???
jezz i hope so then i would be able to go to both!!
Oh Gawd, Annie, what Fresno round up? What Castro Valley? Sob, send me info? I want to meet you guys sooo bad. Hey, everyone let me know what I have that you want NOW? www.packrat-pro dot com, then go to gardening area (blue flowers) then the plant data base, then (sigh) the trade list page. I forgot how to do a link here. sigh...
Here is a link to Ladyannne's trade list:
http://www.packrat-pro.com/planttrade.htm
Ladyannne, hope you dont mind me doing that. You just copy and paste the url.
Looking forward to meeting you too!! I love your website!!
~Rachael
Hi everyone, looks like there IS some interest! YIPPIE!!!!!
And it also looks like Micke Grove is gonna be the place. It is really nice there & I know you will like it. And soooooo cool with all those trees. LOL
We are going to get a couple of threads started, one for food & one for trades, so that way we can be organized.
I asked for the title to be changed to include the word Stockton, so people would not think this was the Castro Valley RU & Terry changed it for me really fast. (Just in case you noticed and were wondering:~)
I guess we now all have excuses to get cuttings going, huh? Like we NEED an excuse! LOL
Hi Anne! Nice seeing you here! I am sure hoping you can make it, I still have that corkscrew vine for you and can give it to you then.
Donna, I would love the snail vine, what was it I had that you wanted? Rachel thank you, I have been gone so long I an't remember how to do that.

Wondering if that will work....
ladyanne:
Roundup in Castro Valley is here: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/525871/
Plant trades for the RU is here: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/526077/
Food thread is here: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/526163/
I think Annie is confused re coming to the Fresno Roundup. I believe she's referring to this one (Stockton RU).

Tee hee, ok, got it straight. Stockton on the 10th, Donna's fault, Castro Valley on the 24th, Hanna's fault. Thank ye!!!!
LOL :>) Hopefully I'll be able to make it to this one too. It kind of depends on whether or not I can find someone to carpool with. Awfully expensive gas-wise for just one day.
This has now been posted in the DG Events Forum....Jo

Thank you Jo, I appreciate it.
I wanted to let everyone know that Kachinagirl is going to be starting a FOOD thread, and RachaelBee is going to start the TRADE thread.
I will be putting updates in my original post, so keep an eye up there & if I have you listed incorrectly regarding your attendance, please let me know.
Thanks everyone,
Donna
Micke Grove looks great - definitely need trees for those of us that think 70 is hot. http://www.mgzoo.com/regional%20facilities.htm
