Hi all, there are at least 100 of these little beggers eating away at my milkweed plants. They have devoured 2, 2 1/2 foot plants and are working on others. They are approximately 1.5 inches or less in length. If they are good, then that is what the milkweed is for. BUT if they are bad I must get rid of them.
Please can any one identify. Thank you ahead of time.

PanamonCreel, thanks for the info. Neither site tells me if I should allow them to live or if they need to be taken care of, I will do a further search now that you have given me the name.
thanks again,
Joy

That really is your choice. I would say let them be, they are guests to your "milkweed dinner table".
