Does anyone know what this beetle is? Good guy or Bad guy? Thanks!

I'm not sure that is a beetle. It could be a type of moth that mimcs wasps.

I went to whatsthatbug.com and he found it for me. It is the Squash Vine Borer.

I've never seen this bug before because this is the first year that I am growing pumpkins!
And that is what they like to destroy!
