grub eating my hibiscus!

its totally ruining the flowers only eats the insides then the buds turn yellow and fall off its not touching anything but the buds grrr
i dont have a digi cam or i would take a pic

any ides?

think bayer systemic will work?

im no expert at this but since you halven,t had a reply, i have 6 hibiscus plants,and what i use is a producd from schultz, its called
garden safe houseplant & garden insect spray.it works good far me. don,t know what bayer systemic is. hope this helps

the systemic treats the plant from the inside out and it has been working great i just had to wait for it to kick in:)

its granular and a spray, pretty great stuff. here is of of my blooms this year from my hardy yellow, the grubs are eating the crimson tropical right next to it

i see you have gravel around yours is that better than mulch?that is very pretty,heres one of the others ,halven,t got my other beds finished yet

its black lava rock, i dont think its better then mulch its just what i had at the time lol. oh i have that one as well lani i think its called
