I was looking at my back garden the other day and I noticed that it needed some bright yellow and blue to give it some punch. This garden is supposed to be mostly reds, some oranges and yellow, no purples or pinks (that's a different garden). Anyway, here's a picture of this garden.
Anyone have any ideas of some yellow and or blue flowers that I can put that would complete the color scheme?
Needs a pretty yellow &/or blue - any suggestions
Yellow snapdragons and Blue Bedder Salvia or Browalia. Could probably still find some in the local nurseries.
What about a shepherd's hook to the right of the bench with a hanging basket of pale yellow petunias cascading down. Simple, I know, and not very exotic. I think it would look lovely, though :)

Oooh hugahosta - that sounds interesting! I will have crocosmia lucifer blooming in a few days to the left in between the yellowish pink rose and red rose in the corner. and I have red leaved cannas that will be growing along the back right, so a shepherd's hook with something yellow to the right of the bench and in front of the cannas might add that much needed highlight!
Thanks for the suggestion!

Please, please show a pic if you do it :)
delphinuims and coreposis - blue and yellow blooming here now - they soften the orange of the daylillies, so I'd think they would be pretty with your reds, too.
Veronica sunny border blue is a nice long bloomer, too. http://davesgarden.com/pf/go/55794/index.html
