my wife and i have not done anything else but work in the yard. and we dont care.
garden gone wild
Beautiful! Love the red hot poker :) Mine's in bud now and I'm excited to see it blooming soon. First time I've grown it. Your yarden looks fantastic! You should both feel very satisfied :)
thank you we have cars now stopping and looking
Oooh, that's my goal :)
i just keep making more planting beds because i dont like to mow grass
Definitely prettier than grass :) Great job :)
Just fabulous, keep it up!
Very pretty. Looks like tomato cages over your dahlias? Great idea. Your reasoning sounds like my reasoning with flower beds and less grass to mow. Jerry, I don't buy that though completely because there seems to be just as much work weeding. LOL My hubby just laughs at me and says I will get tired eventually. Ya know, he is right. But he helps me with some edging with 'roundup' etc. I still have plenty to mow though too and I do it with a push mower for exercise I tell my self. LOL What kind of reasoning is that? LOL
I work in long term care. so it's therapy to come home and pull weed's and not as hard as pushing a mower
Long term care as in hospice or nursing home kind of thing. Anyone working in health care, my hat 's off to you. Couldn't do it. The beauty of gardening surely compensates for the struggles.
I agree with you Jerry, Yard/Garden work is soooo rewarding and relaxing. Me and DH, do all the work here, and people are stopping and asking us about the yard now, mailman said it looked like a park. We just love it when someone injoys our efforts. Makes me feel real good...
Viv
P.S. Your yard is fantastic... just beautiful.
