She has had a lot of trouble with moles or some other underground critters destroying her plants, particularly bulbs.
I am looking for suggestions on how to save her plants frome these buggers!

Go to your hairdessser/barber and ask for some hair clippings. Put a handful in as many openings as possible or bury them around the bulbs and the moles will run the other way, or put a little castor oil in each hole and this will cause the moles to itch and also head the other way. Both these methods have worked for me in the past. Good luck to your mother. Gil
