It seemed slow on the General Discussion forum just now - maybe because I included an image with my post about today's quote?

Boo to me!! AOL opens Dav'es right away but it takes forever to go to a forum or open a thread. Repeated tries. And Internet Exployer is just blank, it is still trying.

edited to say I am zipping right along now on both AOL and Internet Exployer!!

It's been screaming along nicely since I got on around 8 AM central until now.

Now it's crawling, especially pics and images. =(

I really wanted to see a pic that wasn't loading, so I looked at the properties and it said

When I took the lamb ( http://davesgarden.com/pics/mystic_1088713440_889.jpg )part out the pic loaded instantly.

What's up with this lamb thing? ;-)

Lamb is the second server. He serves all the images. Lion is the server that shows the page and text.

It's moving so fast, i had to fasten the seatbelt, lol.

I'm actually not as concerned with jiffy numbers right now. Mostly just "Is the site working at all for you" and "are you experiencing any pageload problems"?

I have no DG banner...other than that, no noticible problems.

A journal/diary quirk - hit the link to go back to my diary and it brought me to the DG forum instead.

Almost nothing here and in MO i Would get message , server is down or busy ,Hope 43 in Tulsa could not get on Sat. Or Sun.
I have been trying to post Mo. Ru Pictures with no luck ?since Sat evening
maybe Wanda and I got two posted up ,Sun . morning could not get on any threads till around 9. 30 THEN GOT ON ONCE AND zip ?

Wow! In the 6 minutes since I posted above, DG has slowed to a crawl. I thought it wasn't going to open after I checked my web mail.

Still no banner...it must be me....I'll reboot.

Still no banner on any page...refreshed and rebooted.

I just got in and will play around a bit and see if there is anything else.

All is well here, very fast.
