HELP me ID what did this to my Passiflora's please

Olathe, KS(Zone 6a)

Hello. I have this leaf curling I'm finding on many plants and mainly on newer growth. I've yet to find a bug in or around the problem areas. They tend to like my passion flower leaves the best but will do it to most anything. It looks like a bug pinched off a vein in the leaf when it is first growing then just curls up around the pinch. Here are a few shots of what the damage looks like.
I would really appreciate help in finding out what is doing this. I'm usually pretty good with this sort of thing but not on this one.
Thanks, Jeff
This picture is from the back side of the leaves.

Here is a picture of the front side of the leaves.
I'm trying to think if I'm leaving out any details, I think the pics tell the story.
Thanks for your help friends;)

I've seen pics of plants like this in my "Southern Living Garden Problem Solver" and it says it's "Herbicide Damage" I had some leaves like that earlier this year on my butterfly bushes. I don't use any chemicals, so I figure it just comes thru the air. Just a guess...

Hahahaa. Well don't that beat all!LOL I have yet to use any herbicides or pesticides either. The craziest part of it all is this plant is sharing a pot with another passiflora and that 1 shows almost no damage what so ever.
I guess some residual herbacide is possible as this plant spent winter in a friends greenhouse but it has been outside for over 1 month now, I figured any herbicides would be gone by now unless a systemic.
Well thanks so much for taking a shot. I think I will go ahead and pot them up as they need it anyhow. Maybe fresh media and a change of pace will bring them around.
Much thanks, Jeff

The past few years I've had leaves like this on a few things that bloom early, then after that everything is fine. Probably nothing to worry about. (hopefully)
