This year, I have yet to spot a Colorado Potato Beetle among my young spud plants. Last year I had lots of them. However, on a number of the adults that I hand-picked, I noticed some small white, hair-like spikes protruding from the beetle's back. Seems to me I read somewhere that these are eggs of some sort of parasitic wasp that will feed on the beetle and kill it . Does anyone know anything about this?
