Please help me identify this solo (so far!) critter in the Identification Forum http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/504504/.

It doesn't look like the bean beetles from our area in Georgia. This looks to me like a type of lady beetle. Have you tried googling bean beetle and lady beetle? If you click the "image" selection, you'll get only pictures of the beetles and might have an easier time finding it.

Good luck and please let me know if you find it. I'll do the same.

Thank you for peeking in, Night_Bloom! Ursula helped identify it for me in the ID thread, and I now know a little more about how to identify the bean beetle should one show up for a visit. :)
