DG T-shirts, Part II

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

Yippiee, mine arrived last evening and was waiting for me [the kids had opened it] when I returned from work. I wore it to try immediately. The "L" would have been a better fit than the XL, but seems okay. I wish gardenwife had posted the exact measurements before I mailed the size! It will be my cherished garment and everytime I get into it, I'll remember the garden angels that made it possible. Thanks a lot.

Just to let you guys know, I will post the Dave's Garden "calling card" without a watermark when I get home tonight (I'm on break at work right now.) It prints in better quality and is easily re-formatted from a Word document, but I know that some people don't have that, so the post here might be the best I can do. I won't be home until late tonight, so bear with me.

Everyone have a great day!

D a v e,
I have just sent you an email telling my T-shirt size and regular mail address. Please have a check. And if there are questions, please let me know.
Thanks.

Roadrunner,
I have my T-shirt ordered the medium size 21 x 26.
According to Chinese standard, I belong to the tall-thin type.
Here we call this kind of shirt as 'Culture Shirt'. Many youngsters love having them on to express their inward feelings or show their social statues. I am so happy to have a DG T-shirt and will treasure it.
I thank the person who pays me without leaving a name.

I think it will be great that Dave's Garden is being promoted in places like China, India and the other places that Dave is shipping to. They should bring a lot of comments to you when you wear them...what a way to let others know about this great Garden!! Jo

I wore mine for the first time today to a local nursery with our Happy_1 and my gf. The man at the nursery thought I was a landscaper, but me being a truthteller, I told the truth.
No wholesale discount for me.

But I gave him the web address.

For those who have Word, I will be happy to e-mail you the Word version. The font used for the text is Lucida Calligraphy, so you'll need that for it to look right (that font came with my version of Word.)

For those who have already e-mailed requests for the Word doc, they are on their way!

Maggie, thanks, I love that card you posted!

I tried to "save" the image from the post then open it (used a couple of different applications), but I got very blurry, low-quality images that way. Does anyone know the proper way to pull an image from a post? That would be generally quite helpful!

Conroe, TX(Zone 9a)

I get a decent picture both in Word and in WordPad by just right clicking on the image, clicking "copy", and then pasting it in the word processor.

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

Hmmm. Our systems must be different. I get options like "save image as" (which didn't work out) and "copy image location" (which is just a link to the image rather than the image itself), but there doesn't seem to be a straightforward "copy" on my right-click menu options. I shall ask my DH, who is much more of a computer whiz.

Meanwhile, could I ask you to pretty please email me the Word file? Do you think we could send it to Trish or Dave and see if it could be added to the Extras?

Thanks!

Wore it last evening to the market place. We bought a watch for my d'r who has just passed out 10th, as a gift. I bought one for myself as I needed one to wear while playing cricket and tennis - the old one was not 'sweat-proof'. This one hopefully holds out to be good. Nothing serious happened with the t-shirt. Am sure when I wear it for vegetable-shopping at an organic growers selling point, someone will ask about it. It is a great honour to be wearing a DG shirt!
