Hi Dave,

Fedora core 3 running on some quick servers sounds awesome! Which database server are you using? Working with dbs, I had to ask. My guess is either postgres or mysql.

MySQL. I keep trying postgresql but they make it so nearly impossible to use. Poor documentation and poor PHP support. :(

If I was a python programmer I'm sure I would love PG.

Dave,

MySQL has such wonderful documentation :) With version 4.1 well into production use, so many more features are available than on previous versions. Subqueries == less perl scripting over here.

One more opportunity to say thank you. You're right new hardware IS a headache. But I know that for all of us it will be worth it. Will it make your life easier too?

And Dave, if it's going to scream, do I need to turn the sound down on my computer? :-)
