Thanks! I saw those, or something similar, several years ago in one of the gourd newsletters. I've made several of my own that seem to work well.

I'm thinking that gourds, pumpkins & luffas makes a good forum! There are more than one kind of luffa and I use mine for craft purposes. RR, are u going to Prizer Point this year? I'm gonna try to make it since I was sick last year.

I haven't grown any gourds in a few years (will be growing pumpkins this year though!) I lost all my really good gourd seeds to a renegade goose (actually, 'twas a renegade gander, named Alice).

Roadrunner, the only way I can help out with any 'potentially future" gourd forum and also PF is if I have some good seed to grow out! (*Hint hint!) :>)

Ok Shoe...I'll go through my little bag o'tricks and see what good ones I can send a fine farmer like you....Don't let Alice near them though!! Jo

Howdie to you, Shoe! What kind of gourds do u wanna grow? I'll be back home on Sunday and I've a lot of singles left over from a gourd seed co-op we did two yrs ago, I think? I can just send you a variety or specific ones if I have them. Is Alex interested in growing any particular type? I think germination fell a little as I sprouted some for Irislvr... and not all sprouted. Anyway, give me a holler if you're interested. I can include some homemade soap, too, if you'd like.

Thanks for the gourd seed offer but it looks like RR is gonna send me some...guess she is gonna put me to work again, eh? (And Yes...Alex loves to grow stuff...this year she is planning her very own garden! Who knows what she'll grow!) ;>)
