I'm going to get DD to print Roadrunner on mine...on her computer print program. I'm not copying you Karen...I thought of it yesterday...but great minds....! LOL Jo

To add sweatshirts, mugs, caps, tote bags, greeting cards, stationary etc. would require a huge cash expenditure and inventory which would have to be maintained. Demand would fluctuate up and down and place a financial hardship upon Dave's resources.

The site has grown a lot since the first offerings were made. But to invest in enough inventory to keep costs down is no small matter. So by getting our feed back before deciding to have these shirts printed up made a whole lot of sense.

Perhaps, when they are all sold out it will be feasible to recreate the sweatshirts or mugs. Until then, I plan to enjoy my shirts! (But for future reference I would love to have one of those mugs that I was not able to order when they were available)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Mystic wore her sweatshirt here this past weekend. I was so jealous. :)

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

Just saw this today. I ordered mine for my chunky little self. :)

Yep, I collect coffee mugs, also ... and that would be swell! Anyone got one of those old ones they wanta sell?

Worden, IL(Zone 6a)

Ordered mine. Thanks Dave.

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8b)

Several years ago, I actually embroidered each sweatshirt and tshirt. I remember giving the option of having your DG name on it for an extra fee. Of course, our family was smaller then, and so was DG!

Those who have embroidered shirts are certainly a special few!! (and no, those won't be offered again:))

Zany is spot on. It is certainly a drain on time and resources. It is fun(!), but one thing at a time :)

You mean you don't have time to embroidy a few hundred shirts. :)

Just kidding

Paul,

Would it be possible to get a picture of you, giving your presentation in that shirt? That would really make my day, if possible!

Allen Park, MI(Zone 6a)

The papers going to send a photog, I'll do my best.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Dave, Thanks so much for offering the shirts...I think it is awesome, and I can't wait for mine to get here!
Last summer, my front cutting garden was chosen by a team of scouts as one of the Buffalo in Bloom Garden Award winners, and we will be honored by the Mayor as part of a kick-off celebration on May 21 downtown.
I plan to wear mine that day with pride!! Hopefully, I can get some more Buffalo gardeners to join DG!

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

Dave, I am still on the search for somebody here that can sell me a USD check. The comission banks and exchange houses charge is ridiculous for the amount of the check, so I am trying to find a private person with a USA account willing to sell me the check. If this is a problem for you or if you are out of the size, please feel free to cancel my order (Order ID 31047).

Ursula

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

Ursula,

Can you and I work something out? I can pay for it and you can reimburse me....perhaps with plants from your country?

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

Dave, isn't there something we as a group can do to help accomodate Ursula, Dinu and Gumlla?

Oklahoma City, OK(Zone 7a)

Perhaps the Garden Angel Fund is something that could be used for this?

Santiago, Chile(Zone 9b)

Carla & Darius, you are both so sweet, thank you very much, but this is not what I meant with my post.

Carla, if I sent you plants, they would be subject to the very expensive phitosanitary certificate :(

DGardeners are amazing and the most wonderful people on earth!

I will keep looking for somebody in Chile willing to sell me the check, just want to release Dave in case he has other customers for the shirts I ordered.

Hugs,

Ursula

Not only Carla & Darius all the members are very loving, I willl never leave DG otherwise Dave will kick me out, Then I can't do any thing. I am sticked with DG like a "BUD".
Kaleem

Oostburg, WI(Zone 5b)

Dave - I had a problem with ordering also. Was on the confirm page and when all the info was transfered, it had my last name in the line that said Address 1 ? Did you get anything at all or should I just try it over again? Thanks, Laura

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

Kaleem or Ursula, can you get a PayPay account? Mine takes withdrawals from my bank account rather than a credit card transaction. Takes a few days to set it up as they have to verify accounts.

edited to say I wasn't intending the Garden Angel Fund should pay for shirts. Just was wondering if there was a work-around to help you out with international funds.

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Dave,

I received two messages from Standardout confirming my purchase and one from Pay Pal. (4/23 and 4/24)

Evidently this is not my day for getting deliveries at my new (8month old) address. What address did you send the T-shirts to?

Molly

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Molly, I am still waiting for mine also. Maybe we will get them tomorrow.

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

Molly, my invoice said mine was shipped Monday, April 25, but later Monday Dave posted that he had a hundred to ship that day and the lines were too long so they'd go out Tuesday instead.

Okay, this thread is getting long and it's becoming impossible to track problems here.

Please: anyone who has a problem with their order, email me.

Ursula, gmulla and Dinu, someone has stepped up to pay for you three's shirts. Please email me your shirt size and mailing address so I can get them out!!

dave

red_princess_71, your shirt was shipped within the past 2 days. If you don't get it by tomorrow evening, let me know!

kooger, your order was never placed. Did it not give you an error message when you tried to place your order?

Please feel free to redo it, as the order was never placed. - this time make sure your name is on the name line, and the address on the address line.

dave

Molly, I emailed you with the info you requested.
